THE BITTY MEME

1. YOU'RE MY HERO You, your caregiver, are about to meet your hero. Or perhaps your caregiver is your hero. What advice do they have to pass on to you?
2. TOYS You have a toy. What do you do with it? What do others do with it? It's kind of an awesome toy okay.
3. I DON'T WANNA! You don't want to go to bed/eat your vegetables/go to the store/be back to normal/go home/ wake up.
4. I'm siiick are you really sick? Or are you just faking?
5. DO SOMETHING YOU WANNA DO obligatory wildcard post.

The only problem he had now was figuring out how much to tell him. "I guess you could say you were in the future. I really think you've just been made young again without time travel but I don't know too much about it."
He shook his head, "We're not at war. We're actually friends with Asgard at the moment. You... were unhappy and left." Steve wasn't sure he even knew the whole story. He just put some pieces together.

Now as dried off as he was going to get in wet clothes, Loki folded up the towel and passed it back politely. Despite the fact that he was properly scowling, now.
"Asgard is my home. I would never leave it." He drew himself up, the picture of the child trying to look grown, despite the fact that he wasn't even five feet tall now. "My brother would get into too much trouble without me."
Truth be told, they were both troublemakers. Loki was just better at it, and he knew when to stop. Thor, to his mind, was still a wild, rambunctious child, far more immature despite being older.

He frowned at him and the wet clothes. Steve doubted he would fit in anything the super-soldier owned but he couldn't stay in those. He would have to flag down a SHIELD agent and make them scrounge something up.
"I only know what they told me. What your brother told me," he amended. "It doesn't happen anytime soon."

This was a strange world full of strange people, and some strange magics were obviously at work somewhere. But at least no one hear had actually tried to hurt him. That, more than anything, was what was keeping Loki in line - he wasn't sure the rest of the world would be so kind.
"How do you know my brother. Has he been here before?" How would Thor know how to get to a completely different world, when Loki still hadn't figured it out?

They didn't want him hurt either. It was part of the reason Steve was playing baby-sitter; it was a reasonable assumption that Captain America wasn't going to hurt a child, no matter how he was when he was older.
"Yes, I know him," Steve agreed with a nod. "We've fought together."

"You're lucky." He already knew he would never be much of a fighter, and that he and his brother were very different. But, that was okay. They were still brothers. This way, they could help each other.
"Has he ever shown you Asgard?"

He smiled faintly, "I am lucky to know him." Steve was a little sorry that things turned out so poorly between Thor and Loki. He knew that Thor still held out hope for his brother but he didn't think Loki wanted anything to do with the other god.
"No, he hasn't," he shook his head. "It sounds like an amazing place."

Loki wanted everything and nothing to do with his brother. But that was now. This was then. At the moment, he was just a child who was thinking wistfully of home.
Steve at least seemed to appreciate how amazing Asgard was, so Loki thought that maybe he wouldn't mind sharing. He's seen a lot of Steve so far, but only as a distant guard. This is the longest conversation they've ever had.
But Steve...isn't so bad.

Maybe it was time to change their approach.
"I'd like to hear about it," he agreed with a nod. "Most of the time when Thor is here we have to fight against someone."
