As far as the roll of the dice of fate can fall, you could have scored worse: you're a witch (or wizard, magician, mage, what have you), and power flows through your veins. Still, before you can use this ability or don your black hat, you must pay the carnal price of this world, no matter your personal feelings on the matter. Fortunately, sex is plentiful for those who need to craft their spellwork. You might as well enjoy what you do.

[ While her benefactor usually kept her on a tight lease, it was more opportunistic to send her to train her magic than let her remain unable to use it. Even then, he took some convincing but she'd won him over in the end. It is a bit strange to be separated, honestly, but not bad by any means. It reminds Rosie of a time before she settled when she followed nothing but music and her own whims.

This isn't going to be just fun though, she knows. Her 'teacher' seems stern but that just makes her shine even brighter to compensate for it. He had use for an informant and she needed someone to help her figure out how to use her inherent magic (and sensuality as was relevant) to the best of her ability; it was a perfect fit.

While she didn't have any true ulterior motives, she was naturally curious about a man who needed information. Didn't they all, in one way or another? Her job was usually extracting it than giving, but... Why not enjoy a change of pace once in a while? ] Morning! [ she greets cheerfully, up early and ready to start. ]

( For Kiritsugu, he couldn't help but feel as though he's viewing a scene he's witnessed a dozen times before: a plucky young mage, eager to learn and broaden her magical ability, without fully understanding magus society or what it entailed. Would she still smile six months from now? A year? He couldn't help but look at Rosie as though he were in mourning.

Kiritsugu takes a seat on the nearby couch, retrieving the newspaper from the coffee table littered with guns and cigarette buds where Maiya had left it earlier that morning. He looks exhausted, no doubt from sleepless nights aided on by a bottle of amphetamines. )

You will be assisting Maiya and me with our work. Primarily, this means you'll be gathering intel on mages within the association. ( Read: blackmail material. ) If you show promise in magecraft, I can start training you as a sealing designation enforcer. You will be issued your own gun, and I will help you with the process of strengthening your mana. ( He leaves this part unsaid, but sex was was the most efficient means on that front. ) Let me know if you need any help adjusting, otherwise.

( For Kiritsugu's lack of charisma, he is quite thorough. Doing his best to leave little room for Rosie to question her place in her new life. )

[ It'd be hard to say if she even is considering six months from now let alone tomorrow. For Rosie, a future was usually difficult to conceptualize. The last few years have been being told what to do for her own safety and betterment; at least, that's what she's been told and chosen to believe. This is no exception.

In essence, a job as an enforcer would entail dealing in mage assassinations, and extraction of magical crests. Typically, these are heretical magi marked for sealing by the Mage's Association. You'd be gambling with your life, so I wouldn't have you assist me in the field unless I were certain you could handle it.

( Which is to say: don't die. He's lost one too many a partner in his line of work, and would prefer not to have another on his conscious. )

[ Oh, that sounds... In a way, it's strange. She was so used to being in danger or harm's way to get the information that was necessary, she's a bit surprised to hear he wouldn't want her to do that.

Also, telling her to not be discouraged instead of just need to work harder or some disparaging remark- Already, she can sense this is going to be a lot different than working under Charlie. But she likes that. Variety, right? If he was going to start assigning her to others to work under, she needed to get used to their styles of management. ]

[ witch. typically more of a solo act than a team player unless the stakes are very high and/or it's the best way to accomplish her goals but I wouldn't mind AUing for some coven-style action. I like baseline sex with magic use, accidental magical aphrodisiacs, sexual acts meant to open/close magical locks or summon/bind something more powerful, fertility rituals or rituals to allow sex with zero danger of conception, transformation sex, sexy magical one-upmanship. my favorite dynamics for her are usually characters who love magic as much as she does or characters who are warier about it but need it for some reason (or just find it sexy) and I'm never against Morrigan assuming she has things under control and getting in a little over her head.
