( I LOVE AUs, bring them on! Happy to brainstorm ideas - a few I've had kicking around are:

Spock as heir to a Vulcan empire where Vulcans embraced logic but didn't leave behind their warrior ways

Cyberpunk something something where mental bonds are tactical or corporate-mandate (and then maybe uh oh, feelings)

Urban fantasy where Vulcans are demon summoners (or Spock is the annoyingly logical demon summoned)

[Hi there! I'm not sure if cross-canon is okay, but the first idea you have is really appealing.

[Alivian is a wolf and high officer of what's known as the Control Bureau (effectively just a regular cop but also in charge of assisting denizens with placement/housing and other minutia for a comfortable life.) Cramea - a world parallel to Earth, and can be entered via "breaks" in the barrier between worlds - is primarily populated by beastfolk. The series isn't complete, though I do have it linked in his journal. (Please note that it is pornographic in nature.)

[Even without every detail of his canon, Alivian is a nervous, mostly stoic being who suppresses his desires for the benefit of others, but is, under that, kind, thoughtful, and even doting. He has a powerful Glare which, upon looking at others with the naked eye, can immediately subdue or even risk killing them. As he gets used to someone and feels more affectionate, he starts showing that more and more, and even will start to open up about matters important to him, even if it casts him in a negative light (such as admitting to his love interest in the series that he was at first thinking of using the other man for his benefit in softening his Glare power.)

[I could see him being offered as a tribute as Cramea's "most powerful" for an alliance, or something? He's at least no slouch in a fight, though I will admit that my skills at writing action scenes isn't usually the most riveting... I also default to present tense, and can write in brackets or prose, easy.

[I don't mind AUing/tweaking him to match whatever we choose, if he's a character you're interested in. If not, no worries. :)]
