The day that his phone drops a reminder about Izuku's birthday, Shouji disappears for hours in the morning. When he comes back, he's got a package on top with Izuku's name on it, and a bag full of food that he knows that Izuku enjoys, hoping to share for a night in. At least, when Izuku is released from their friends and their party plans. Which, of course, Shouji will be present for.

When they have time though, Shouji will nudge him off to one side and bend for a kiss more intimate than the chaste pecks exchanged when they were in the middle of other people.

"Are you enjoying your birthday so far?" he murmurs, smiling warmly down at the other boy with his hands resting on Izuku's sides.
