A character takes the hand of another and kisses it as a mark of respect. Used to portray the character as particularly romantic, chivalrous, foreign, or just a bit old-fashioned.

Why stick with the cliché? The subdued? The modern? Go big or go home, we say! There's nothing wrong with reaching out, taking someone's hand — and laying a sweet kiss right on the back of it (or on their palm, their finger, their wrist...)! You just know you'll leave an impression. So, whether in a polite yet platonically old-fashioned greeting, a sworn oath, a hope to sweep them off their feet, a measure of comfort, or anything in between, drop to one knee and kiss the ring.

How to Play
- Comment with your character, info, prefs, the business. What role are you going to play? Slap that in there, too.
- Reply to others.
- Your character is kissing their hand. Or getting a hand kissed. Whichever!

( Kiritsugu cannot help but feel a bit uncomfortable in his skin at high society functions such as these. From the uncomfortable itch of his tuxedo, to never quite knowing how to conduct himself. His wife assured him that he didn't have to come, knowing that she likely had years of experience attending these on her own, but that presented its own concerns. Socially, the question of "where's your husband, Sir Hellsing?," and physically, being heavily pregnant as she was. What if something were to happen?

So, he attended, awkward as he was. Shadowing his wife where he could, or standing off to the edge of the room, attempting to attract as little attention as possible. He nurses a glass of champagne in lieu of his preferred cigarettes, not having lit up in months, and attempting his best to behave... with all the enthusiasm of a wet cat.
