[For all the hardship that was facing the Flamechasers, and the storm that swept through as Elysium Everlasting slowly but surely fell apart because of another Herrscher, she'd always felt like that pink elf was the closest thing to a caring hand amongst the more frigid or otherwise unfriendly surface attitudes she'd come across. To say nothing of Mobius and her constant pining for a mere rat for whatever experiments she could pull... Even as overbearing as Elysia tended to be, she was never outright malicious. After all, girls like her preferred their secrets. And Mei only really pried when she needed to.

...But after the rite that solidified her position as the Herrscher of Origin, and that final farewell, she sometimes wished she'd be able to see her again. Even if it was only in some dreamscape, she desperately wanted to keep speaking with her, to share all that happened since with her. To reconnect, as old friends would after so long.

Of course... she had no idea that reunion would be happening now, of all times.]
