POOL PARTY MEME




It's summer somewhere, and summer means pool parties!

If you live under a rock and don't know what a pool party is: There is a pool, maybe multiple pools, maybe even a hot tub. There are pool toys. There are snacks and drinks, both with and without alcohol. Someone may be grilling. It looks like someone even brought a sno-cone machine! Someone's probably on lifeguard duty because alcohol and swimming don't mix but people try to make them mix anyway. If the party extends into the night, there may be fireworks. Etc, etc. Just friends, neighbors, and more having fun in and around a pool.

HOW TO PLAY:

Post with your character, canon, preferences, etc. Assume whatever AU/jamjar/etc you have to in order to get them into this situation.

It really helps if you make some kind of starter or prompt, or just some indication of what your character can be found doing. It makes it a lot easier to tag you. For bonus points, include (a link to) a picture/description of their swimsuit (if they have one).

Tag around! Especially strangers, a pool party is a great place to meet new people.

As disgustingly hot as it was, Rebecca was happy to get the invite and was currently eyeing up that pool eagerly, stretching a towel out on the chair she'd staked out under the umbrella, wearing her cute blue bikini, ready to tackle the crisp cool water first chance she got. ]

[It took some time before Hei joined her, roped into cooking all the food. Thankfully, each understood they had their own duties to fulfill, and he certainly wanted to spend some time with Rebecca. As much as he loved food, he loved her more.

Not that it stopped him from carrying over some containers and putting them on the table near the chair he laid out for himself.]

I was able to finish up just in time. Coming here early did pay off--[He stared at her bikini, himself only in some plain black swim-trunks. A natural smile spread.] Gotta say, that one does make you look even cuter.

( Bio- A freshly baked OC needing voicetesting. A man from a world where once a month somewhere in the world is struck by reality-altering light, who has recently joined the organisation that combats paranormal events and supernatural criminals. Fake jamjars and assumed CR are a-okay! )

Yamada practically glows with his pale skin on display, but he's been ordered to take it easy after a recent, intense battle. This is one mission he can handle easily. His inflatable shark float, a loop with his butt in the shark's gaping mouth is perfect for lounging in, as he drifts about with hands behind his head, watching the kids play in the shallow end.

Emi, the little girl he owes so much to, splashes about with others, making his normally wry smile more genuine. He'd promised to keep an eye on her but she seems to be doing just fine on her own. Allowing the water to decide where he goes, it's invetivable he'll eventually bump into someone.

Yamada does many things for his own amusement, and this is one of them. His cloud dragon shorts inspire him, thinking about how funny snow would be on a day when everyone is scorching. So, the next time he hears someone comment on the heat he uses his powers to turn one of his fingers into ice and sweeps it up their back in a smooth motion. Nice and chilly, and great for getting people to make undignified (aka hilarious) noises.

"Better?" He asks, smiling with a playful twinkle in his eye.
