This is the meme for muns who love all kinds of AUs and crossovers.

[How To]

1. Post as your character. (Please write down the name and canon/fandom of the character in the subject line, and also if they're canon, AU, crossover or OC, etc. Please also write down preferences, etc in the comment box)

2. Choose a scenario, or any combinations of any scenarios you want to try out. Making up your own scenario is fine, too! Either mun can make the suggestions for a scenario.

There were some rather odd ways a parent could show their love now and then. Some parents let their children climb trees just so they could scrape their knees, some let their child drink themselves sick, some let sunburns happen until sunscreen was a frequent demand. Bridget's adopted father was the kind who left her with a plate-sized hole in her chest and a drive to kill him that let her survive to be thirteen hundred. Oh, she'd caught on in the end, just a few days before he'd died, and then she was angry for a different reason.

He'd left her as the last of their kind to face the next seven or eight thousand years alone. She was too strong to die, to lonely to wait, and so she'd had the scientists do the only thing left. They froze her and sent her drifting into space. She wasn't aware of how many centuries had passed when the ship had detected faint life-signs and pulled the pod into their bay, nor was she aware of her potential revival by a handful of curious youngsters.

[She's already a Genderswap AU, but we can always add more!]

He did find the magic in using his unicorn powers to knock things off of shelves or onto somepony when they got in his way, though. That always made him happy. For a few seconds, anyways. Even without his Akatsuki cloak, Itachi anticipated that he'd be attacked simply by being this deep in Konohagakure territory. Not that he was inviting it. No, he had another, far more important fight that he needed to preserve his strength for. And that strength was often failing him these days.

He traveled as long as he could before the pain in his chest was too much to ignore. Stopping, though, simply set off a wicked coughing fit that didn't stop until Itachi was on his knees heaving blood at the base of a tree.

He knew that someone was coming. But he couldn't afford to focus on it.

Itachi had been using his time away from Konoha and his family to think, though he'd fallen into circles an hour ago and decided it was time to head in and see if Shisui could provide some relief from the mental pressure building in Itachi's skull. He'd also been doing target practice and moving silently through the trees. When he heard the coughing, he'd simply been dashing through the trees to get back home, hungry and eager to talk to his cousin.

Armed as he was, Itachi didn't think much about pausing to see who was in the forest. He dropped almost to the forest floor and hopped along a few branches before he saw someone hunched over. Itachi didn't recognize the old cloak thrown around the man's shoulders. It hid the man's physique from view, but someone who was coughing like that couldn't be too dangerous, could they? Itachi stayed in the low branches, wary.

"Do you need help?" Itachi asked, since the man was obviously not all right. From this distance, Itachi would have a chance to dodge if he needed to.

He heard the voice between agonizing wheezes. The words were a blur, but the direction they came from wasn't. They were above him, too far above him to be a civilian. It was a shinobi in the trees, Itachi was certain of it. But they didn't attempt to kill him or even capture him. Instead, what had they said? They asked... If he needed help...

In the seconds that followed, Itachi weighed his options. If the shinobi didn't recognize him, there was a chance he could deactivate his sharingan, pull the headband from his brow, and perhaps even get an escort to the border. But to take that chance could be akin to walking into a trap unarmed. Genjutsu could buy him enough time to escape. He merely needed to turn around, and catch the unsuspecting shinobi's eyes.

He forced himself to breathe, and chose the latter.

Sharingan met sharingan.

Itachi's clan wasn't so large he didn't know every member by sight. If an unfamiliar face held the Sharingan, it was either someone's bastard that had gone unclaimed, or someone who had stolen the eyes. Itachi would think this was someone with stolen eyes, but he looked too much like an Uchiha. But, Itachi didn't know any Uchiha who were currently missing-nin. The puzzle intrigued him.

As soon as Itachi saw the red eyes, he bit his tongue and closed his eyes, but it was too late. The strength of the genjutsu caught him off guard. It was comparable, or maybe even stronger, than Shisui's normal genjutsu, and Itachi slipped from his branch and fell. Slamming into the ground broke the rest of te genjutsu, but Itachi lay stunned for a moment. Two. The he rolled up to his feet, trying not to wince at the pain in his back and shoulder, grabbing for kunai.

When the past Itachi opened his eyes, the last of the genjutsu faded in a flock of crows.

The future Itachi, meanwhile, should have been trying to put distance between himself and the other shinobi. But he'd seen it - sharingan - clear as day. And just as puzzled, just as intrigued, Itachi hadn't moved.

The clan was all but destroyed. Sasuke was the only one spared. And yet, he was staring at another one. Another Uchiha... Loyal to Konoha! (Stolen eyes were out of the question for someone who barely looked old enough to be a genin.) But Itachi knew the faces of all those he killed. He knew every last clansman and their progeny. There was no one... no one that would have been that age on that night. No one that could look so much like... himself?

Maybe he was the one in the genjutsu.

But the young man rolling to his feet in front of him was no illusion. Neither was the kunai. And try as he might, Itachi couldn't get enough air into his battered lungs to get out of harm's way.

Crows.

Itachi looked sharply at the face across from him. The coloring matched, as did the long hair, and the deep grooves in the face. Itachi suddenly wished he had an obvious scar to mark his face or hands, but he didn't have one.

But, this man, who seemed very old to Itachi, but not old enough to be dying of a lung disease (which he sounded to be doing). As long as Itachi avoided genjutsu, he should be safe enough. Also, he needed an answer to this riddle.

"You should tell me your name, cousin," Itachi suggested. "Cousin" was better than "old man." "And why you're walking so close to Konoha, a place where no one's going to welcome you." Perhaps he had come to die.

Itachi's cheat heaved as he insisted that he was just passing through the area. His real destination, of course, was the old Uchiha stronghold, which wasn't far from where the clan eventually settled to form the village. But that would make little difference to anyone who wasn't Sasuke.

His name... if it wasn't already obvious, there was no point in lying. Especially not to an Uchiha from Konihagakure.

"My name... is Uchiha Itachi."

Itachi's eyes narrowed.

"If you're going to lie, you should pick a better one. Everyone knows the Uchiha heir is named that, and he's not even fourteen." If this man hadn't realized who Itachi was, Itachi wasn't going to help him.

"If you tell me who you are and what your purpose is, I'll kill you here instead of taking you back to the clan." Itachi did not think a missing-nin claiming his name would get a very warm reception. And, as sick as the man was, Itachi didn't think he had much longer to live anyway.

The Uchiha heir not even fourteen? It hardly seemed possible, but if that were true, then he was staring at a younger version of himself, somehow. He really and truly was!

But while the older could recognize himself, the younger Itachi had no such hindsight to draw upon. How to make him see...

"And eight years from now... he will not have aged well. Nor will there be anything left to be heir to." Itachi insisted. "My name is Uchiha Itachi. And if you are too, then my purpose... would mean nothing to you yet."

Itachi eyed the man and wished Shisui were here. Shisui would be able to tell if this were Itachi or not, even if Itachi were old and evidently sick. Itachi's lips thinned. Had he hit his head recently? Could he have been caught in a genjutsu without realizing it? Could he be hallucinating?

Sudden episodes of psychosis weren't that strange for ninja, especially those who had gone through war at a young age. That could explain his "future self."

"And you expect me to believe you?" People could be brought back from the dead, but not pulled through time. Itachi had never heard of anything like that.

He stayed on his knees, still looking up at the other Itachi.

"No... I barely believe it myself. At your age... I would have considered it impossible."

After all, if that Itachi was still loyal to Konoha, it meant the impossible hadn't happened yet. The clan was still alive. Their destruction hadn't been ordered. Shisui might even be still alive, and with both eyes. But the clan meetings... surely they had started. The fear, the distrust, the hate.

"Much like the outcome... of those secret clan meetings." he added. Unless they were both who they said they were, how else could they know? "And the even more secret ones with the Hokage and his advisors..."

Itachi's lips thinned. He hadn't stopped to think that his future self was wearing the mark of a missing-nin. Did it mean he would fail to keep the peace, or he would be somehow sacrificed to keep the peace? Itachi frowned and wondered if this were just his exhausted mind playing trick on him, or maybe a very bad prank pulled by Shisui.

"And I suppose you're not here to give me a warning, only to give me a glimpse of what my future's going to be." Crawling off into the woods to die. That would be a wonderful way to go. Obviously Shisui were dead, because Shisui never would have let Itachi get so sick in the first place, or wouldn't let him crawl off in the woods alone if he were.

"I don't know how or why I'm here..." Itachi was just as confused as his younger self to how this meet-up was actually occurring. "But if the's even a chance... that I could change what happened..."

How often had he dreamed it? A chance to go back in time, prevent the coup from ever being planned, prevent the village from striking down his family (and using him to do so), prevent Shisui's death, prevent Sasuke's vengeful burden, prevent all of it.

"... I would die trying."

[SOMETHING ABOUT A GREAT CONFLICT BETWEEN MANKIND, ROBOTS AND UNDEAD and I guess Kamen Riders are involved too. Undead being meanies killing off robots and people while the Battle Royale is still in progress. And that's why the riders are around, right? But unknown to the riders, it seems like someone behind the scenes managed to throw in robots with the ability to seal Undead in the fray.

So here's Kenzaki as Kamen Rider Blade heeding the call of another Undead sighting. He's fighting off a pretty powerful Undead right now, the Deer Undead, being able to shoot lightning bolts out of its antlers. He's having a hard time taking it down at the moment, but it doesn't seem like he's ready to give up at anytime.]

[Taking down either Maverick robots or the Undead were really, the same thing for Leviathan. Plus that was what she was built for (even if she didn't enjoy it).

When she was alerted to a near by Undead on the lose, Leviathan immediately stopped what she had been doing prior to the call and headed down to the scene. Fighting on land really wasn't her forte but that didn't make her an incompetent fighter by any degree.

Looking between Blade, and the Deer Undead Leviathan waited before forming a large block of ice and with the help of her helberd swiped it in the Undead's direction.]

I'd move out of the way, if I were you.

[Leviathan called out while twirling her lance, readying herself to make the next strike.]

[Move out? Pshaw, no way he's doing it.]

Can't you see I'm doing my job?

[And he means it really. If he'd stop and move away, he won't be able to help those in need. That's why he's a Kamen Rider after all.

The Undead growls at Leviathan's appearance and her first strike. And like an angry deer it is, the Undead switches targets and charges towards Leviathan. Kenzaki however, takes action.]

Look out!

[Kenzaki shields Leviathan from the Undead's tackle, resulting in him being thrown away from its attack.]

[Leviathan's eyes sharpen as Kenzaki refused to stand back. Honestly, what was this guy's deal? She was just trying to do HER job.]

My, my. Are all of you this childish? It's no wonder we've been built to take down the Undead.

[At least she still had it in her to tease Kenzaki a little. Although she hadn't expected for the deer to charge soon, let along Kenzaki act as a meat shield. There's a clear pout as Leviathan swings hard with her Halberd to make another swipe at the undead.]

Honestly, you're making the dust around here pick up more. Why don't you play nice, and lay dead?

[The Undead takes the hit once more, leaving a scratch on its chest as a result. Green blood starts coming out of the Undead's wound. Kenzaki grunts at that remark as he tries to get back on his feet.]

Sorry, but staying down just isn't my forte. Why can't we just... work together in sealing the Undead? We can help--

[But Kenzaki was cut off by the Undead's attack as it shoots lightning bolts in random directions. This time, he's alert enough to dodge its attack.]

[Leviathan makes a face at the sigh of the Undead's blood. It was clear how she felt about it.]

I didn't mean you, I was talking to the-

[Welp, there was that attack. Leviathan instead of dodging creates an barrier of ice to block the attacks. Good thing this Undead wasn't some sort of fire breather, or she'd be in trouble.

With a growing smile on her face, Leviathan turned to Kenzaki.]

Well now, I'm not opposed to the idea of teaming up. What do you have in mind, little boy?

[If Kenzaki wasn't wearing that mask of his, he'd probably wince at being called a little boy. Well, doesn't matter. At least someone's willing to help him out.]

First, we'll have to cut out its antlers. We need to stop it from using its power.

[Kenzaki draws a card, getting the Two of Spades. He'll slide it through his Blay Rouzer.]

SLASH

Ready?

[With a playful smile on her face, Leviathan shifted into a offensive stance. Aim for the antlers, huh?]

I have it in my sights, so I'm ready.

[As if to emphasize Leviathan's point the air around her seemed to feel tad bit cooler.]

[The Deer Undead starts charging towards the two, unaware of the plan they have in mind. And with that, Kenzaki raises his sword.]

...Now!

[As the Undead approaches, Kenzaki makes his attack, swinging his sword towards one of its antlers.]

[At Kenzaki's signal Leviathan swung her Halberd aiming for its legs. Even if the Undead managed to dodge one of their attacks, there was no way it could dodge both at the same time.]

[Just because it was mentioned... Also, CRACK.]
