[ Lucifer has begun attending meetings with frequency lately, it helps when you have people on your side urging you to succeed. while Michael is always in attendance, he is noticeably absent from the group today. he made an excuse about being tired and, while he is, he is actually in attendance, he just isn’t seated where he normally is.
he did tell him he had a surprise for him later, though he neglected to go into details about the when and where. so here they are, nearing the conclusion of a meeting that has progressed uneventfully and with cool heads when Michael decides to make his presence known by nudging Lucifer’s leg apart beneath the table.
that’s right, he has been hiding beneath the table all the while, biding his time until things were effectively wrapped up. he has attended the meetings long enough to know when everyone is getting ready to retire. at this particular meeting, at least, there are only two other attendees and they are both near the opposite end of the table.
mischievous is a rare emotion for him but he wears it well, even as those blue eyes peer up at Lucifer as he draws a finger to his lips as if to maintain the secret and mouths the word surprise. then, and only then, does he begin to enact his wicked plan by starting to work at the fastenings on his pants. does he intend to start before the other two demons vacate the area? absolutely.
