one; hugging. you just want to give your loved one a warm embrace. be it out of happiness, to comfort them while they're down, or just to give them something warm to latch onto, you just want to wrap your arms around them.

two; kissing. whether it's a peck on the cheek or a deep kiss, a kiss good-bye or a romantic kiss, you find yourself compelled to kiss the other person! be as tender or as passionate as you so choose.

three; holding hands. it's a simple gesture, really -- to reach out and take someone's hand. but that one simple gesture can convey any number of sentiments. what the sentiment is, is up to you, but you find yourself reaching out to take your significant other's hand.

four; carrying. is your loved one hurt and needs a lift? do they want a piggyback ride? or do you just want to spare them the effort of walking? whatever the reason, you're now itching to pick up your partner and carry them to their destination.

five; i love you. you've said it before or maybe you haven't but now you have to say it again or for the first time.

six; dancing. kick up the music, because it's time to dance! but no lone dancing allowed -- you need to have a partner! you can do whatever dance strikes your fancy. personally, i recommend the slow dance, but you can do whatever you want!

seven; massaging. did your significant other have a rough day? did they get hurt? or do you just feel like doing something really nice for them? whatever it is, you're giving them a nice massage now. they'll feel wonderful in no time!

eight; flirting. the easiest way to break the ice or maybe you're just an overly flirty person.

nine; cuddling. sometimes there's just no better feeling than curling up next to each other on a warm sofa. hold each other, lie next to each other, fall asleep on each other -- it's all good here.

[ he will, on occasion and when time allows, go watch one of nazuna's lives. though his outward appearance may make him stick out like a sore thumb (why is a wolf watching ra*bits, will he try to eat them or something), he's become a pretty commonplace fixture in the crowd... even if his ears and tail gives others the impression that he's some kind of strange cosplayer.

but after their performance is over, he's also the first to go wait for the idols leave the backstage. whenever nazuna finally leaves the safety of the greenroom, jack is already waiting. ]

Quit squirming... it's making me mess up.

[buggy has about half a braid woven into red hair, but shanks keeps shifting against him, making him lose his place. he's trying to see how tight he can make the weave. maybe tight enough to get a bead through, if he's careful. that would be fun to do, leave shanks walking around with beads in his hair, some proper pirate swag.

he's sort of half-dozing at the same time, though, lulled by the warmth of the other captain's body, so it's possible shanks wasn't even moving all that much.]

[ it starts like this: another case, one that leads them from a park to an old house to a spirit who finally gives them enough clues that they (well, edwin, really) can piece together the story: a cursed necklace, binding a spirit to the mortal plane, and of course it's the type of a curse that can only be broken by the person who cast it in the first place... in this case, a particularly wealthy witch, and that is what leads to the here-and-now; the two of them, by the side of an honest-to-god ballroom, the small string quartet at the front of the room playing something that charles can recognise as a waltz and whose composer, type and year of composition edwin could probably rattle off like it's nothing. ]

She's still not here, [ charles says for what's maybe the fourth time in the past hour. this is their best lead, he knows that, but the party is way too fancy for him, the music is quite frankly terrible, and the only saving grace of this entire thing is that at least edwin's by his side.

the thought strikes him quite suddenly; and, as with most things in his life and un-life, charles turns his thought into action. with a sudden, bright grin, he whirls around so he's in front of edwin, and holds out his hand. ]

We might as well spend the time doing something instead of just standing here! Come on, dance with me.
