the affectionate physical contact meme

you love spending time with your significant other. but sometimes, just "spending time" with him/her isn't enough. you need to have your hands on each other every now and then.

one; hugging. you just want to give your loved one a warm embrace. be it out of happiness, to comfort them while they're down, or just to give them something warm to latch onto, you just want to wrap your arms around them.

two; kissing. whether it's a peck on the cheek or a deep kiss, a kiss good-bye or a romantic kiss, you find yourself compelled to kiss the other person! be as tender or as passionate as you so choose.

three; holding hands. it's a simple gesture, really -- to reach out and take someone's hand. but that one simple gesture can convey any number of sentiments. what the sentiment is, is up to you, but you find yourself reaching out to take your significant other's hand.

four; carrying. is your loved one hurt and needs a lift? do they want a piggyback ride? or do you just want to spare them the effort of walking? whatever the reason, you're now itching to pick up your partner and carry them to their destination.

five; i love you. you've said it before or maybe you haven't but now you have to say it again or for the first time.

six; dancing. kick up the music, because it's time to dance! but no lone dancing allowed -- you need to have a partner! you can do whatever dance strikes your fancy. personally, i recommend the slow dance, but you can do whatever you want!

seven; massaging. did your significant other have a rough day? did they get hurt? or do you just feel like doing something really nice for them? whatever it is, you're giving them a nice massage now. they'll feel wonderful in no time!

eight; flirting. the easiest way to break the ice or maybe you're just an overly flirty person.

nine; cuddling. sometimes there's just no better feeling than curling up next to each other on a warm sofa. hold each other, lie next to each other, fall asleep on each other -- it's all good here.

[He takes the hat back, settling it firmly back on his head. He's not actually expecting anything from her, but it was nice to pretend.]

Yep! I haven't had any hats made, though.

[ She dusts her hands off, before sort of breathing into her palm to check her breath. ]

Do you want hats made?

[ Satisfied with her breath, she is just....

Sort of stepping up to him and dropping her hands dutifully to his shoulders. ]

[He eyes her as she moves in, brows lifting up as far as they can go. Was she really going to...? Oh. Oh boy.]

[His voice broke on that single sound. Way to go, Stilinski.]

[ .. oh my god did his voice just break? Because Jade's eyebrows are going up really high, too. ]

-- ummm, if you were just joking, that's okay!! I was just going to make good on my deal? Was that not a real thing?

Noittotallywas... I just... [He coughed, clearing his throat as he turned his head away from her to do that.]

[ Her shoulders shake a little with laughter, and her own face is suddenly pretty red. ]

I wouldn't have offered if I was put off by the thought, okay?

[You're not helping with the laughing, Jade. He was already feeling totally incompetent.]

Um, okay. Right. Okay. So... do you want to...?

[ She just laughs again and shakes her head in amusement, touching one hand to the side of his neck before she just leans up and kisses him. And she lingers a bit, too, because he really is sweet, and she likes that. ]

[His hands hover around her waist, but he doesn't settle them down. She's kissing him. All on her own. Those were girl lips on his. Holy shit.]

[ She'll give him a few seconds before pulling back an inch or two, eyebrow lifted. ]

.. are you okay? It's not bad, is it?

[His eyes had closed and he had a semi-blissful expression on his face.]

Bad? No, god no. No. Not... no. Not at all. No bad. Very good. So good.

[ .. ahahaha okay she literally can't stop smiling at that, face pink again. ]

Good answer. Okay. Again?

[His answer was a bit of an eager whimper, accompanied by a nod. Yes. Stiles likie more kissie.]

[ Pffft boys are so dumb. She'll kiss him again as soon as she stops laughing at that (it takes her a second), leaning into him as she does this time. Come on, Stiles, it won't kill you to touch her. ]

[Stiles had a very healthy ~~fear~~ respect for women. He knew what they were capable of. They were capable of a lot.

But his hands might have landed very, very lightly on her waist as she paid him his second kiss.

That's about the time his brain switched off.]

[ Good Stiles. Best hat-lender. But she'll mumble a vague noise of approval against his mouth at that, fingers curling slightly at his neck.

This really wasn't bad at all. What if she just.. keeps going for a little while.. :') ]

[He wasn't going to tell her what the proper time frame was for kiss giving. Not when he was getting extra. The hand on his neck made him shiver a little, but in that good way. His hands tightened a little in response as he had to fight a huge need to pull her in closer.]

[ She does, finally, pull back, eyes a little wide and face legitimately red instead of pink this time. ]

[ And so, so sheepishly, she removes her hand from his neck. ]

[ She is just hiding her face in her hands now. ]
