TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
③ Chase → You're caught in a high speed chase.
④ Gun fight → You're caught in a big shoot-out.

⑮ War → You're caught in the middle of a war here. Remember to keep your chin up and keeping fighting.
⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.

ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.

⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.

[Oftentimes, Heine doesn't notice how much he grips his neck, always smoothing his fingers along the metal of that fucking neck collar under layers of bandages and his high-collared shirts. It's a habit now, whenever he thinks about the past or whenever he's too close to a woman.

Heine doesn't disapprove of what Izaya does.]

Everyone's got their guilty pleasures, and yours is just more fucked up than the most.

[Though he must say, Izaya's wasn't so much a guilty since Izaya seemed to openly enjoy it. He looks up at Izaya, his hand falling away from the back of his neck.]

I don't wanna feel special. I wish I was just a normal person. Humans are interesting till you see how pathetic we all are.

[His life isn't so bad now that it's settled down significantly... and he's found Izaya to distract his own musings.

But one thing's for sure, Heine wants to feel that he's special to Izaya - just like Izaya holds a special place in his life. A piece that doesn't quite fit in with all the others, quirky, and a little fucked up, but that's what Izaya is anyway.]

[It was, perhaps, half intended as faked concern, but it ends up being a far more common expression of curiosity. Izaya has suspected for a while now that there's something unusual about Heine, and the man saying as much given him all the chance he needs to continue looking into this.]

You're not a normal person? Why do I feel like you don't mean that in the philosphical sense...

Hey. [He reaches over and pokes the kid's forehead with his chopsticks, so fast, that by the time Izaya woud have blinked, it was like nothing happened and he's reaching for a maki roll again.]

I can be philosophical too, you know.

[Here we go. Where to start. Heine wonders how he should filter his story. He wasn't sure if Izaya should know all of it, being the information sponge that he is.]

I was genetically modified at birth and optimized to be a human weapon.

[He watches Izaya for a reaction and chews on his piece of sushi.]

[Izaya doesn't appreciate the poke - not because it hurts, but because he was too slow to stop it. That hasn't happened in -... Well, it's never happened.

He doesn't like it.

And, really, the information only makes things worse. Genetically modified... At least Heine isn't some supernatural monster, then - but does he really count as human anymore?

Humans can't usually best Izaya. It's probably part of why he likes them. He doesn't mind a challenge, but a challenge isn't the same as a threat.]

A human weapon...

[There's just the slightest emphasis on the 'human', more a question than anything. Izaya stops eating for now, too focused on this information. For probably the first time today, the smile he usually hides behind is nowhere to be seen.]

Modified in what way?

[Heine feels almost smug that he's managed to wipe that smile off of the other's face, though it makes his stomach feel tight that Izaya had put so much emphasis on the word human.

But Heine often asks himself the same question. Is he even human anymore? Just because he started off as one, way way down the line, is he still human if he can't even experience the most basic principle of humanity - life and death?

Did Izaya seriously just ask him a straight forward question that didn't make him feel like he was falling into a million and one traps?

Now Heine's actually feeling wary.]

{It's not the complete truth, but Heine isn't exactly lying to Izaya either. He doesn't even know his whole body, and what's been done to it, only a few obvious facts. He has no idea how they did it, or what exactly he was made from, but as his life's gotten significantly better, he's managed to get over not knowing.]

I was just made to fight, so perks are shit like healing faster, running faster. I'm like, [Wavegesture of hand] enhanced and shit.

[He shrugs, not like the fact that Izaya was focusing so much on this topic. Does it honestly matter? And he's slipping his free hand up again to grasp at the back of his neck.]

['Enhanced' is a lovely word, but in the end it only means changed. Izaya doesn't like it. People are supposed to be on the same level, not have just a few of them better than the others - better than Izaya. Instantly, Izaya dislikes Heine a great deal, like a brand new toy that turns out to be damaged when you take it out of the box.

That said, Izaya may dislike whoever did this to Heine even more.]

I see...

[Izaya reminds himself to put the sashimi into his mouth, chewing thoughtfully. Slowly, he's building up some of his usual barriers again, the constant trace of mocking returning to his voice. True, what Heine is may be disgusting - but perhaps Izaya can still use him. And Izaya certainly wants to find out more, to prevent more people from being turned into things like Heine.]

I'm sure that's a lot of help in your current job, as well.

But I'm curious. [He's not even looking at Heine just yet, but he may as well ask this outright. He has enough information to keep investigating, if he doesn't get a straight answer.] What does your neck have to do with it?

[And no, he doesn't get a straight answer. Instead, he gets Heine dropping his hand down onto the table. He didn't even realize he had it there in the first place. Crimson eyes narrow at Izaya, It's almost as if he could see the walls coming up, first that tone, then that damned smile. And now these questions.

[He's no longer eating but rather just gripping the chopsticks in his hands. How the fuck does Izaya know what he does?]

Also: I kind of want to say that Izaya hired Heine to do something nasty, anonymously, just to see if he'd do it. If that's cool with you, the choice of what the job was is entirely up to you!)

A little bit of a lot of things, apparently, but violence does seem to be a recurring theme.

[He notices, of course, how Heine doesn't approve of him knowing any of this - and, given Heine's demonstration of speed, just before, that should really be enough reason to make Izaya be more careful. But it isn't. Izaya is having too much fun, even now, and his voice is as calm and just a little bit taunting as always.

That said, he does lean back a little, arm bumping ever so casually against the sleeve of his jacket, satisfied to feel the weight of the knife hidden there. Of course, he's not the only one with concealed weapons; that's another thing that hasn't escaped his attention.]

But then, that's probably why you have those guns on your back, isn't it?

(ooc: No, I get it haha. Izaya would be able to find this stuff out especially since Heine doesn't do anything really out of his way to hide it. As for giving him a job anonymously, I don't think it would work anonymously, or if the job is against Heine's morals. Izaya would have to be able to find someone believable to give the job to Heine and have a good reason for doing something so nasty. But dude, you're not being godmoddy hehe.)

[Well then. Heine's eyes narrow even more, until they're crimson slits, baring into Izaya. And that's when Heine's whole being becomes less relaxed and more aware of everything that's happening. Izaya and his subtle shifts, leaning back, the pair of chopsticks in the other's fingers, he takes note of it all, including where the other's feet are under the table. And he smirks.]

Heh, you little shit, I'm impressed.

[Heine wonders if they're drawing attention to themselves. They're not speaking loudly, or acting abnormal in any way, but he wonders if the tension can be felt between them. He leans in, an elbow propped on the table as he tilts his head a little.]

Yea, it is. In case someone comes after me. And why are you investigating me, Izaya?

[They're useful for each other, Heine knows. Because it's obvious that Izaya has information on everyone out of the ordinary.]

(OOC: Good, good. XD I try not to, but sometimes people can get upset easily.
Sending someone else to Heine would definitely be something Izaya would do! Reasons could be fabricated, evidence faked, etc. It wouldn't necessarily be something Heine would hate doing, just... something nastier than most people would bother with, by way of testing him?)

[Izaya's posture seems relaxed, but is anything but. His smile is sharp, and his eyes never leave Heine's; he's every bit as alert as Heine is... at least, on a human level. Heine's words are a compliment, even with the insult; his actions perhaps even more so. But Izaya knew before this meeting that Heine was dangerous, and he knows it with even more certainty now. He's not going to lower his guard.]

Why wouldn't I investigate you? You're rather interesting -...

[He pauses briefly, still trying to form an opinion on what Heine just told him. He looks the guy up and down, slightly disapproving.]

(ooc: Yeah, some people can be touchy like that when it comes to smart characters lol. Izaya would have to be really really good at faking evidence and history though, cus I would think Heine would do a background check of all his 'clients' before he does whatever it is they want. As for the job, I think he would do something on the nastier side of the person who he's going after has done something horrible, like murdered innoccent people. He feels most passionate about mutilation but I don't know if Izaya would know enough at that point to be able to use it against Heine.)

[Heine raises an eyebrow when Izaya gives him that look. He sees the disapproval clear in the others eyes, even through whatever mask he has veiled over his expressions. He's used to it by now. Part of his reputation has the word zombie tacked to it but he can't help but feel a little bit pissed off at Izaya's words.]

It's not like I had a fucking choice. You should stop. It's not something you want to deal with.

[For a while, before he finally figured out how to live with it, his choice would have been to not be alive. The only purpose he has is to stop the woman who created him. He's a monster, and he knows it- doesn't need Izaya to investigate his case and tell him the verdict for him to understand that. What's worse is what the spine is capable of when it takes over. That's how he killed Lilly.]

(OOC: Hmm, yeah, probably not. Well, Izaya is just a small fry at this point. We could always compromise and say Izaya sent someone at Heine with fake evidence, and Heine investigated enough to see through it? Izaya wouldn't necessarily have hired the fake client in person - it's so much better not having anything that leads back to him - so even if Heine confronted the client, all he'd find out is that he was hired. Not by who; Izaya would have used a fake name.)

[Izaya's smile widens before softening a little. Perhaps that's enough. He doesn't have a death wish, after all, and even if Heine is tainted to say the least, that doesn't mean he can't still be useful.]

But, given what you know about me, surely you can forgive me a little curiosity?

[In the interest of getting things back to a slightly less lethal level, Izaya pretends that nothing ever happened, grabbing a piece of sushi.]

(ooc: But then he wouldn't have managed to 'test' Heine. :C What if he found a real client, so someone who really does have somebody that needs taking care of, and then introduced them to Heine, giving them the idea of the nasty job they could get Heine to do, so they would have scouted out Heine all on their own with real evidence and a real job, just that Izaya would be monitoring and remote controlling it all because the client is just manipulatable like that? So then Izaya still gets to test out Heine.)

[They say curiosity killed the cat. But really, the dog did. Heine can't stay pissed at Izaya because he likes the kid. He's interesting and fun and unpredicatable like most people, so he leans back in his seat, no longer so much in Izaya's face. Though now he's caused this, he needs to talk Izaya out of trying to look into it. Heine has a feeling that it's going to be quite a challenge to do that.]

If I explained every facet of my reasons why, we could be here till morning. But mostly...

[He puts the sushi in his mouth, swallowing it quickly.]

[Heine feels almost insulted at that, though he doesn't let it show on his face. He has no right to feel this way because he thinks the exact thing that Izaya thinks, so he lets out a puff of laughter that doesn't quite reach his eyes.]

[And he picks up a piece of sushi, chewing and swallowing it, eyes staring at the boat in the middle of their table.]

[It's really nothing personal... in that particular case. But there are a lot of reasons why Izaya wants to know who did what to Heine, and most of them he simply doesn't want to share. He's fine with Heine knowing a few things about him - even things that Heine won't like - but he has to draw the line somewhere.

The more so now that he has a clue about what Heine is, really.]

[Izaya taps chopsticks against lips thoughtfully.]

There's a lot I could find out with a bit more to go on... but you have a head start already, right? And your methods are a little more direct.

Though maybe not subtle... I hope you don't kill everybody you look into.

[Heine's okay with not knowing everything about Izaya, but all the things that Izaya was saying, including the way he implied his habits of offing people he didn't like... it all seems as if Izaya knows about him a lot more than Heine thought he knew.]

I don't know much, except that she's been doing this for a long time. She makes.. armies.

[Then, he looks at Izaya again, eyes tense.]

I try not to kill everyone.

[Looking for a name, mostly - and, just now, that's important enough to skip the easy mocking he could have done. He's starting to suspect that there's a very plain reason why Heine hates women. And, if that's what it is, it makes sense. After all, Heine may be secretive, but he's not the most complicated person Izaya's ever met.

Granted, if 'she' makes entire armies of people like Heine, Izaya will have to really step up his game to do what he wants to do. It never even occurs to him to give up, though.]

You try, hmm? Then I guess in Mr. Nakashima's case, you just didn't try hard enough.

[Izaya knows a surprising number of details about that particular case. Funny how that works.]

[No, Heine's not the most complicated person. He's not completely simple, but he is straight foward, unlike Izaya who talks in fucking circles and has Heine second guessing his own words each time he talks.

Though at the moment, Heine isn't tlaking. Instead, he's sitting there, chopsticks in his hands though not eating. He blinks, eyes calm, cool, though inside, his stomach clenches a little.

No one knows about his cases, besides his clients and himself. At least, that's what he believed... until now.

Had he not erased his footsteps well enough...? But he left nothing behind. He doesn't exist in any records and is blood is unrecognizable, if it were ever to be put through any tests.

His voice is dark as he speaks.]

How the fuck do you know about that?

[This little shit's better than he thought.]

Weeeell, when I found out what kind of jobs you do, I thought it would be nice to send some clients your way. As a friend.

[It's only been the one client, so far, but Izaya may as well be vague about the details. And he could send a few other people Heine's way, maybe... later, if it works out that way.]

But, really, I didn't think you'd go that far...

[Yes, he did. And he certainly got his money's worth out of it. Granted, he only sponsored the client a little, and he'll expect the guy to pay him back...]

Well then. I guess I should be thanking you.

[Though sending someone his way to get information was certainly something he knows Izaya would do, it still surprised him that Izaya was able to do it so effortly, and so cleanly. The background checks on his client hadn't turned up with one trace of Izaya. No contact, no records, and maybe Izaya was as good at fooling the system as he.]

Dinner's on me.

[Dinner had always been on him... though in a way, he supposes that Izaya's paying for his own dinner, if he had paid for the job.

He says it ever so slowly, eyes never leaving Izaya's for a second. It's been a while since he had gotten his hands so bloody and the fact that his client had requested something so brutal had caught him off guard... but he had believed that the man had deserved it, so he did it. Even though it wasn't him, particularly, that finished the job. It was the other side of him, the bloodthirsty hound inside of him.]

You were the one who came up with the idea, weren't you?

Hmm, and what if I did? The client was really hoping for a solution.

[Izaya just made sure that the solution became a little more permanent. But he's happy, the client's happy, and presumably Heine is happy as well.]

Of course, if the job had been too much for you, you could have refused it.

[Meaning you're a bit of a monster, Heine. But Izaya doesn't dislike that about you.]

Then you're more fucked up than I thought.

[Which is really fucking fucked up. Like, almost Heine's level of fucked up. He feels as impressed as he feels intrigued and wary of Izaya.]

It wasn't too much for me. It was fine.

[But it had left him confused, in pain, and almost breaking down when he had seen the blood on his hands. There was a reason he doesn't take many jobs that required literally getting blood on his hands. He doesn't remember much of the deed Izaya had come up with, but he had came to and had stared at his hands.

Just like what happened with Lilly.

But all it took was a minute to remember who the client was, and he didn't feel so had anymore.]

And what'd you end up assuming about me, hm?

That you're not afraid of doing what's necessary, if you think it's deserved.

[And that, of course, is a relevant point; one that Izaya will definitely keep in mind if and when he decides to use Heine.]

That you're dangerous.

[The smile he sends Heine is infinitesimal, but there's some genuine amusement behind it, and even something like affection. It's nothing warm, though; Heine is still damaged as a human being.

Izaya wonders if that can be undone. And, if not, if he can find a way to kill Heine.]

Well, the dangerousness I already knew about... but not the lengths you would go to. It's rather refreshing.

[Izaya makes it sound so idealized. Not afraid of doing what's necessary, bullshit. Sure, it's true, but Heine thinks of it more as a kind of greed that had drove him to grasp the opportunity when it was presented to him. The reason was enough to calm his conscience.

Truthfully, Heine thinks that the fact he had done it is disgusting.

If Heine had a way of knowing what Izaya's thinking, he would have ran far far away. Disappear from the city and leave Izaya behind, completely erasing himself from the other's life. Not because he's afraid of being killed - no, that's impossible-, but rather because if Izaya ever attempted to, and if he's really strong enough to bring Heine anywhere close to the edge of life and death, the dog inside of him would rear its ugly head and just like that, Izaya would be ripped to pieces.

And Heine would hate himself afterwards, even more than he already does.

But in the mean time, Heine only looks at Izaya, taking in that smile and blinks at the odd way it makes him feel. The little shit.]

Eat your goddamned sushi.

[And he tears his eyes away from Izaya's face and eats a piece himself.]
