It's a rare day indeed when dawn breaks and it is Éomer, not Eskel who is blinking awake and watching the other slumber on. If she had her way, Éomer would sleep in until midmorning, much preferring to stay awake hours past sundown, but that is a schedule that is difficult to keep when one lives one's life out on the open road, and it has been many years now that she has kept to a nomadic life instead of one safely ensconced indoors. Usually it is Eskel who shakes her awake and laughs at her grumbling, who hands her a brewed cup of caf if they have it or at least a piece of bread if they don't. Usually he also kisses her hair when he does it, which takes some of the sting out of being forced out of bed.

Perhaps it's because they slept in an inn last night, the heavy storms blanketing the region making sleeping outdoors incredibly unappealing, but more than likely, the copious amount of drink they indulged in is also one of the culprits that is keeping the witcher slumbering on beside her, still snoring like a lumberjack as a very annoying bird chirps right outside their window.

Stretching out her limbs as much as she can considering how much of the bed is left with Eskel sprawled out over most of it, Éomer resigns herself to being well and truly awake and instead contents herself with admiring her lover in all his glory, sleeping soundly in a way he rarely does when they're on the road.

If her admiration winds up being a bit more tactile than just looking, well. She doubts he'll mind.
