Not defeating Scrooge McDuck in the most comprehensive manner possible, not retaining my position as the greatest dark menace the world has ever seen. Oh, and being trapped in a stupid coin at the hands of my nemesis.
The greatest dark menace the world has ever seen. [He gives the strange birdlike woman a skeptical once over.] I'm afraid to say you do not quite measure up to the likes of Sauron and Morgoth, my lady. Not even close.
[For whom she has very complicated thoughts at this point, really. On the one hand, she's become an enemy. On the other hand, a piece - descendant - of Magica has become a powerful mage in her own right. Whom she might still be able to mold in the...correct direction. Or, frankly, any.]
[It's confusing and she doesn't like confusing.]
And honestly, you can't make an impression in this world without selling a few souls and what not.
[said with a waved hand.]
A woman's going to make enemies getting ahead in the magical world.
It's been a long day. A long day, a long night, a long week, a long mission. It wasn't the worst by a long margin—she's had so many worse, she's been so many worse—just long, and she's feeling a little too thin, a little too stretched, a little too ready to spring at the wrong provocation, a step of rebellion too far, a joke told too carelessly. Too many morning's without her usual while they were all off ship.
(One body always one body too many, but never until after, knowing she'd do it again right now, too. Even still.)
It's not their fault. It's just how it is sometimes. And they know to leave her be when she gets like this.
Just a little too quick, a little too sharp. Just a little too not just their Captain again.
Which is how Sara finds herself in the office she still thinks of as Rip's office even though it's been hers well over a year at this point. She's proved it's hers in spades. Even Rip said that himself. That she was a better Captain than he ever was. (But she doesn't feel like the right person to be anyone's Captain on nights like this. Doesn't want to argue all the reasons she shouldn't be. Doesn't want them on her tongue even when she can't banish them from her mind.)
So she sits.
And she drinks a little more of the last bottle Mick pilfered for her. And tries to wait out the ants under her skin lulling themselves again.

Oh, it's you. Lena's little friend.
[She looks around.]
Which means the rest of the glee club can't be far behind. Wonderful.

You know, you wouldn’t have these kinda problems if you just…stopped being a pain in everyone’s tail feathers.
Of course you did!

[Reluctantly, she scribbles out a short list:
- Fall into a sewer
- Sleep in an open grave
- Eat a rat (without any salt)
She could go on, but brevity is the soul of twit. Or something.]
