It is really hard to look menacing when being followed by a big stupid-looking spider, but Jim does his best. All things considered, that spider is at least two feet tall, so it's probably menacing enough on its own.]

[Everyone has that one stupid fucking Pokemon that is an asshole and won't stay in their Pokeball. So it follows their owner around or runs off and gets into trouble--- whatever will cause more shenanigans, generally speaking.

David's is his Gastly, tenderly and lovingly nicknamed 'Fart' and with good reason, he stinks.

As a result, David stinks. Many apologies to the stranger sitting beside him.

Sitting outside of the donut shop, he clings desperately to the brown paper bag he was given at check-out, he'd requested three donuts. All jelly. One to give to Fart, in hopes that it would be appreciative for once and not steal his, one for himself, and one just in case he clumsily drops his or if Fart got particularly greedy. You learn to take these precautions when you live David Wong's life.

Mellie figures a proper thank you is in order for the Pokécenter in Viridian City after they revived her Slowking (nicknamed 'Hunk') last week. She's been trying to pamper him and take the week off from traveling, but he seems well enough to hit the road again, so this afternoon they borrowed a kitchen at some kindly soul's house to make some grateful rice balls for Nurse Joy.

She carries her pack slung over her shoulder and a box of the rice balls in her hands. Her Togetic toddles ahead of her, walking on its feet instead of flying so as not to disturb the apron she bought it and dressed it in. Unfortunately, her Nidoran decides that right now's also a good time to try to escape its Pokeball and play, and, not looking where she's going, she accidentally walks right into a man in a jogging outfit and falls flat on her ass. The doughnut-looking rice balls half-scatter, some staying safe in the box and others lost to the dirty ground. Her Nidoran scampers over and starts to eat one of the dirtied ones.

"Sorry, sorry!"

Her Togetic makes an appreciative whistling noise at Chris. Mellie's cheeks turn red and she glares at it to stop.

[If there was one thing Sigma knew Howard could appreciate, it was food. It was very rare to find Dr. Klim out and about in a place that wasn't a laboratory, but today he had done some field work, attempting to find and observe rare Pokemon species in the wild. Knowing Howard was nearby, the Doctor carried with him a picnic basket full of pre-cooked meals. Sandwiches, canned pasta, stuffed rice balls, actual donuts... all store-bought, but things he thought the boy might also enjoy.

Penelope, the Purugly he owned, looked as nearly as old as he was and hobbled along with slow and careful steps. Allowing he old grey cat to set the pace, Sigma sought out his sometimes-friend patiently. When he finally found Howard, Sigma sat down some distance away and placed the basket at his side. From it he withdrew a laptop computer and feigned as though he'd come to study. He called out:]
