When you’re stranded. When there’s no way out.

At least this you’re not alone.

WHERE ARE YOU STRANDED?
1: Island. Surrounded by the ocean, shipwrecked on an island. Far away from any civilization.
2: Planet. Is it an uninhabited wasteland? A teeming forest, crammed with alien life forms? Does it have enough oxygen? Storms? Predators?
3: Moon/Asteroid. Low atmosphere, low gravity. You better hope that you have a survival pod where there’s enough air and heat.
4: Adrift. A ship on the ocean; a power-dead space station; a skimmer floating through the levels of a gas giant.
5: Oasis. Not quite marooned in the same sense, but you’re surrounded by empty desert, too far to cross. You might as well be trapped by the water of the oasis.
6: Cave. Again, not quite in the same sense, but something has left you trapped underground. Did you slide down a chasm? Suffer a cave-in? Either way, you’re down here to stay, for the time being.
7: Other.

WHO’S WITH YOU?
1: A friend. You’re in this together.
2: An enemy. Maybe war brought you both here, and war left you stranded behind. Could be that you’re an enemy in a more mundane sense: school rivals, an assassin and her prey.
3: Strangers. You were both on that boat for vacation, and now you have to survive together.
4: A lover. Some honeymoon, huh?
5: Other. For any other variation.

WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?
1: Food and water.
2: Shelter. There’s a storm coming. The nights are cold, here. Or do you just want a sense of security?
3: Communication. How can you get someone to come rescue you?
4: Predators. Something’s trying to kill you…
5: Escape. If you can just fix the ship…
6: Each other. One more hour and you might kill each other.
7: Injury/Disease. One of you needs medical attention. Hopefully the other can muddle through.
8: Other. Any other problem you can think up!

You alright? [Keith had pulled off his helmet once it was obvious the planet they'd crashed on has oxygen. Yet he hasn't trailed that far from the red robotic lion that is too damaged to fly. He holds out some of the dried rations as an after thought. There's not much they can do until he can get the lion back up and running.

He takes a seat on the nearest rock once his offer is taken or refused. His gaze sweeps the forest for threats and back over it just to be sure. He'd rescued the lone prisoner on the space ship only to crash on the nearest planet. Bad luck but, they are alive.

[ The ship had been crashing. That was the last thing he'd known before waking up with a sharp gasp, a breath that immediately saw pain radiating through his side. His eyes opened to a field of hazy white before finally focusing on the HUD on the inside of his helmet visor, detailing the area around him while he was still reeling. Too dazed still to pick up the precise details for himself.

One hand instinctively moved towards where the pain was worst, feeling the tear in his underarmor suit and, though not able to feel the warm wet for himself, feeling his gloved fingers slip a little too easily across weave and plating. Great. Just great.

Where...was he?

A quick check showed that his gun was still at his side. Small favors, that. No sign of wreckage as far as he could see, but beyond where he landed there appeared to be an endless stretch of desert sand and rocky landscape, far enough that no end to it appeared in sight. Here, however? There was lush foliage, water rushing from a nearby spring, and even a collection of fruit trees that added a splash of color to this desolate terrain.

No time to observe the beauty of it all, however. With a grunt, he started to pull himself upright from where he'd landed, and every joint screamed in protest at the moment. Was that copper he tasted on his tongue? No. Never mind. Keep moving.

Fenris was not having 'fun' in this moment, and if this was suppose to be 'fun' then he never wanted it to happen again in his life. The map they had was incomplete, the door before them was locked, and their supplies would run out soon enough.]

[Fenris glances over to him as he fed the little fire they had going. How there was even fire still around them on torches was beyond him. He would say magic, but he knew that dwarves didn't have that. Good.]

Invariably, the sea had a draw to it that Legolas never could really resist. The wild, thundering crashes during a storm excited, and then the hushed song, when it all calmed into peace, soothed. He was not the first elf to love the sea, nor was he now the only one. They all sailed, now and again, they all enjoyed to spend the time on the looming cliffs or the golden, sandy beaches that were tucked in between them. The ways down were hidden but for their eyes, but then again... there wasn't really anyone to hide them from. This was a place they called home, they and none others sentient beings.

The air always tasted best right after a storm, salty and fresh, crisp in the chill that broke through the warmth of the summer Sun. Legolas liked that time the most, that cusp of wilderness and peace. The way that darkness gave way to light again, and the dark clouds dissipated right before his every eyes and the winds calmed their fury.

He breathed deeply and let his bare feet sink into the wet sand, let the water lap up at his ankles and sang a song to celebrate it all. Low and melodic, as he stared at the horizon and the images the Sun pained upon the water's surface. Not smooth like a mirror, but it never was, and that was what made the shapes and twinkles most interesting.

And like this, he could have spent hours, undisturbed, content to simply enjoy the scenery, was it not for that first piece of what looked like a ship being washed up to the shore. One after another, wood, curved, flat, clearly prepared for marine travels. Among them there was a treasure box and another, pieces of sails. It was clear what happened, but he also knew that no elf had set sail tonight - they knew the storm was coming, they all opted to stay back and observe from safety. Then who?

There were no dead, at least, not yet— not on the shore, but out there, in the water, among more pieces of what must have been a grand ship, lay someone, barely held up on a piece of wood in their ... unconscious or death. There was only one way to find out, and Legolas did not hesitate to get into the water, clothes and all, and swim all the way towards the person, and then bring them back to the solid land. He could feel a heartbeat, and the ... man was breathing. Good signs, both. Though he was unconscious all the way to the beach, where Legolas dragged him onto the sand and patted his cheek to wake him up.

A frown pulled at his eyebrows, very much confused by the man's strange appearance. This was no elf at all, but a... human? Alike enough, yet with his cheeks bearded and his ears round. So said the stories he had heard from the elders, from the time when they lived elsewhere, beyond this sea, in a land with other peoples. Humans and dwarves and halflings... but it was a long, long time ago.

"Wake up," he murmured again with another concerned pat to the cheek. "You need to wake up now."

On the list of people Satya would prefer to find herself imperiled alongside, should the necessity for such a list occur, 'Junkrat' would have been at the very bottom of her list. The fact that they were technically working towards the same goal notwithstanding, she found the man abrasive, loud, crass, and altogether unpleasant. Never mind the smell of gasoline and gunpowder that always seemed to cling to him, like some overpowering perfume.

A smell that she was rather stuck with now, for the moment. Her preferences mattered little at the moment. The collapse of the ground beneath the streets of Eichenwalde had come suddenly, cobblestone and earth suddenly yawning open under their feet, and while the rest of their compatriots appeared to have gotten clear, these two? Not so fortunate.

They'd come. Eventually. But that still left her with an ankle that was throbbing magnificently and shared close-quarters with the pyromaniac. Hardly ideal. Gritting her teeth, Symmetra started to pick herself up, eyes scanning the dim light for any sign of where they'd arrived.

Tunnels? Under the city? Had this been an escape path for the residents of the town, or how the omnics had overwhelmed them in the first place?

There was a moon, rising over a coastal beach. The sands black but the water deep blue. AIthne was stretched out under a canvas cover on a bed. The air was warm, the light bright due to the moon being closer to most. And there was someone else with her, tucked in nicely against her body. The woman started to turn against this other and then....

Deck.

A face full of deck, and sudden whining of the drives. It took her a moment to push up and grab her clothes, bothering with only the pants and a tank which she managed to get on on the way to the cockpit. Not an easy task as the ship rocked under some kind of strain. The whine, didn't decrease but there was something seriously wrong. The Lady Living Properly gave voice to her displeasure as she creaked throughout her beams.

Piling into the pilot's seat, her seat, she scanned the panel and shook her head. "Hells" A glance out the window, and they were no longer in hyperspace but spinning through normal space. The first is what she addressed, setting the thrusters to slow the spin before killing the hyperdrives completely. At least the whining stopped and things began to normalize. Another query on the computer system, it seemed the AI was out, showed nothing but the maneuvering thrusters were available to them. However there was a station in visual. One of the medium ones that were either official or off books for various reasons. Though it didn't look right. Only six nav light blinked marking its presence could she see.

"Nina, problems, if you have not noticed."

Erin is trying to get the central computer on the ship up and running. She has no idea if she can get it to work but the youth has no choice but to try. As far as she knows she is the only survivor of whatever caused the ship she is on, the Kaeliss, to go way off course.

She has no idea what star system this is or anything like that. She was just a passenger not a star ship engineer or anything like that. Seeing as Erin isn't making any progress and she is starving she grabs the giant flash light she has been using to help herself get around and starts to leave the room in search of more food and water.

What happens next is either like a comedic first meeting or a classic horror movie jump-scare. Erin didn't know she wasn't alone so she screams in Scream Queen terror and tries to hit Matthew in the face with her flashlight.
