[...snort. Yuuri can't see it, but Luke's definitely smirking at this point.]
I'm an expert procrastinator (which is probably half of my problem?) but tell you what. You tell me what you're procrastinating on, I'll tell you why I suck at being an adult and give you a reason to keep procrastinating
[The misfire was a surprise in the first place, but the fact that he's actually having a little fun talking to a complete stranger is the most unexpected part of all this. The timing had been perfect, too. With Phichit busy with classes for the day and his own family probably asleep in Japan, Yuuri would have been left to his own thoughts if he hadn't gotten the text.]
I think you might be right. [Was that actually a joke? Maybe.]
I think that's a pretty fair deal. I'm supposed to meet up with someone, but I've been putting it off for a couple days already. I haven't even sent her an email yet.
She composed a song for me. I was going to use it for something, but my coach doesn't think it's a good idea. I don't know how to tell her yet. I feel bad that she spent so much time on something I won't even be using.
Ohhh you're one of those people who doesn't want to hurt people's feelings no matter what. Okay, I get it. Why not just blame your coach? It WAS your coach's idea not to use it wasn't it?
No, but sometimes it gets you stuck in situations like this. I don't see why pinning the blame on someone who's forcing your hand is such a bad thing. The longer you ignore it the worst it's going to be anyway.
But maybe that's why I'm a bad adult. I blame other people even when it's their fault and they just say it's not. That and I'm pretty sure I lost my wallet somewhere between my apartment and 7-11 and it's maybe a five minute walk. How does that even happen?

[But he's curious and he's taking a break from training, so--]
What are you having trouble with?

[Sort of.]
Before we even get into that, do you always give Adulting 101 classes to strangers?

Sometimes. [Somehow, the next few words radiate guilt, even through text.] I might be procrastinating on something.

"Her"? So...you're avoiding a date? Breaking up with someone? Apologizing to somebody you pissed off? I've done all of those, but never via email.

She's a student at the nearby conservatory. She helped me with something recently, but it doesn't look like it will work out after all.

If it's not going to work out wouldn't it be easier just to get it over with? But I guess it depends on what it is.

Somehow that doesn't feel right either, but I'll think about it. I do want to tell her soon.
OK now it's your turn.
[Smoothest attempt to change the subject ever, right???]

That sounds pretty specific. I'm sensing there's a story in there somewhere.
Oh that's bad luck (。•́︿•̀。) If you were in the area, I could help you look. Actually, what area ARE you in?
