[It was a mistake, letting her go. Especially since she had moved out of the country to follow her dreams. He respected her for that, even admired it a little for moving so far away from home. But moving again wasn't something that he had wanted to do. Not again, not after all of the times that he had already moved in his lifetime. But, as time went on, he began to miss her terribly. They had dated a little bit before she left for New York, but he couldn't bring himself to go with her. He had been moved too many times in his life.]

[But that didn't mean that he couldn't go and visit, right?]

[Finally having gathered enough money for a visitor's visa and a plane ticket, he finally boarded a plane bound for New York, letting her know ahead of time that he was coming to visit for a few days. He arrived, groggy, first thing in the morning, looking around for his long time friend and once girlfriend.]

[When they announced the arrival of his flight, she practically jumped out of her chair and scared a few of the other travelers around her. She blushed slightly, mumbling a soft Gomen to them before taking off for Ryou's designated Gate.

And now here she stood, ~~not~~ patiently waiting for him. She had been anticipating his visit for a few days now. It took a lot to keep herself contained with the excitement, but she managed to do it. Granted she had wanted him to come with her to New York from the very get-go, but she could never force her decisions on him.

And here he was! Tired but here. Tea raised her arm and waved to get his attention, yelling his name. For some reason, it felt good to say it again.]

[Raising his tired head at the familiar voice, especially in that familiar Japanese he was so used to back home. He walked towards that familiar face, a tired smile on his face and took her into his arms once he was close enough. That familiar warmth, that familiar smell, it was all coming back to him.]

Finally made it.

I know! [She wrapped her arms around Ryou's waist and got lost in these long overdue feelings. Nuzzling her face into his neck, Tea breathed in his scent. Underneath all of the sweat and typical airplane smells, she was able to pick out his soap and a light hint of cologne. She smiled into his shoulder.]

I missed you so much.

I missed you, too. [Else why would he come halfway around the world to visit her? There has to be some sort of dedication going on there. After a few more moments of remembering all of the little things about her, he finally found the will to back up and greet her properly. Well, the usual greeting anyway of a small kiss on the lips.]

[But then he remembered that he had just gotten off of a long flight and he probably didn't smell the best that a person could, being on a plane for several hours.]

Sorry. [He says with a little smile and a light tinge to his face, embarrassed.] I probably smell very rank right now.

[A light blush appeared on her face. Its been so long since she's felt like this.

Tea nods and giggles at his comment.]

Don't worry, you can get a shower at my place. [She takes his hand and leads him out of the building.]
