The premise of the meme is simple. Two characters, lovers, have been separated for a time. How long is up to you, as is the reason for the separation. Was it unwilling - an imprisonment, a required journey - or because of a choice one of the characters made? The reason may, of course, color the reunion, and somebody may be pretty miffed, with good reason. Still, the theme is the same: intimacy after being apart.
This meme is mostly geared towards being a smut meme, but nobody will judge you for just doing so heavy fluff.
It had been a long time since she had travelled away from the planet that she and Kouta had exiled themselves to. But sometimes, she just had to get away, even for just a little while. If she left too long, Kouta may worry but she was usually able to get away with short trips without being noticed. Or noticed too much anyway. Usually, the cracks that she went through would land her back somewhere in Zawame where she could maybe secretly meet up with a friend for a very short period of time. Today, however, she ended up somewhere completely different.
She had come through a very large tree which was quite normal but instead, there was a nice oceanside nearby and the town seemed different. It wasn't the loud bustling city she was used to with the dance tracks playing and the people on stage. Mai ventured out a little from the tree and glanced around trying to place where she had come out to. "It's so nice here..."
It felt good to be back in Subarugahama. Right missed his hometown very much, having been away for some time. He had arrived a day earlier than he had planned with his friends, thanks to a generous boss letting him off early for a week of vacation. So, he decided to see if their Secret Base is still there.
Grinning as he spots the large, old tree, he slowly walks up to it as fond memories played in his head. His hands are tucked into his jacket pockets, with one of them closing around the familiar old pass. He slowed, though, upon seeing the back of a young woman. How odd...and why does her voice seem to ring a bell in his mind?
"It's the best beach town in Japan," He replied as he approaches her.
Upon hearing the voice call out, Mai turned to him, slightly startled. She hadn't expected anybody to approach her but as she turned to face him, he seemed familiar. Someone from her distant past.
She brushes down her dress and takes a step towards him, hoping that she didn't seem rude with the way that she was watching him with such a curious gaze when it finally clicks. He was the person that visited her home city on that train when the inves were attacking. It took a few moments for her to think back.
Right blinks in surprised confusion for several moments. This blond lady doesn't seem that familiar to him at first, but that voice...does? It's weird.
"Do I...know you?" Was this someone he ran into during his travels all those years ago?
She laughs in response and nods gently. It's been a long time and it's not surprising that he doesn't recognize her. There has definitely been a few changes. She reaches up to touch her hair for a moment as she thinks about the response. "Quite some time ago, you visited my home town in Zawame. My name's Mai."
Part of her expected him to not remember her at all but there is a chance. Being in that train was a nice change from everything that was happening in her city at the time.
"Zawame..." Wow, that is during his travels aboard the Rainbow Line, all those years ago. Back when he had met Kouta and...
His eyes widens in joyous realization. "Mai! It is! you!" Well, the face is certainly the same, as well as the voice. He lunges towards her in an attempt to bear-hug her in greetings.
A bright smile crosses her expression as he realizes who she is and the hug was definitely very welcome. And it was very Right. She laughs and hugs him back tightly, a little bubble of joy at seeing someone again after so long. Even though their meeting was quite brief, he did touch on her life quite significantly.
"I look a little different these days." Not only is the white dress definitely not matching her old dance outfit, the blonde hair was completely different. "But you..." She grins. "...you haven't aged a day."
"You look great! Blonde hair suits you." Right then blinks at her remark regarding his own looks. "Ah? What do you...?"
And then he remembered that he and his group had visited Zawame while they were suffering from amnesia. "Ohhhh, that! About that...it's kind of a long story. You got time to hear the whole thing?"
she only has so many blonde icons..back to normal icons it is...
"I have all the time to listen to one of your stories, Right!" Catching up with friends is something that she doesn't get to do often and she savored these rare moments. As long as she doesn't get called back to her home any time soon, she was happy to listen to all of his stories.
She looks up at the tree with a light smile. "I'm thinking it has something to do with where we are right now?"
"That's good to hear!" Right grins happily. "...because I kinda suck at keeping it short."
He then looks up fondly at the old tree. "And you're right about that. This place...this is our Secret Base. And the city behind me? That's our hometown."

She could vaguely recall that last time they were there, they were looking for something. Was it their home town? She's so glad that he looks so happy while talking about this place.
"And all of the others? They're all still here too?"
