Saga never expected to have a child, or even to have to take care of one - that would require being a mother or friends or family with children, and she'd seen none of that in her future, albeit for slightly different reasons.

And then she came here and found herself not only with one but with two of them. Which led to a rather complicated time and a trip to the library to find some books on child rearing. If she has to fill this role, she wants to succeed at it, or at least not fail. One of them mentioned "quality time" on "outings", and the one option that sounded interesting to her was the amusement park. Rollercoasters and the like seemed much more straightforward and like they'd keep the girl's attention all by themselves, demanding less small talk.

"Where do you want to start?"

There was so many exciting sights and sounds, that Leia didn't know how to answer. One might think that the unusual situation would at least make her frightened or uncertain. But not Leia -- she adapted easily.

"Ohhhh Cotton Candy!" She pointed over to the booth with the sweet treat.

She stopped because Leia stopped, looking into the direction that the girl pointed into. "Yes."

The booth also sold a variety of other candy, and she could spot a few people waiting in line to buy something.

Leia beamed at the 'yes'. Cotton Candy was the best part of these carnivals. She loved the flossy spun sugar.

"And then... Games!" She pointed over to the many booths that offered Games of Chance. Spend a fortune for a small teddy bear.

She puzzles for a moment over this apparent non-sequitur before remembering that people sometimes simply indicate things that they want to have or do, or as opposed to that mind or judge negatively. In this case it can be presumed that Leia wants both of these.

Well. She did set aside money for this trip since spending money is the point of going to places like this. So she'll start walking towards the cotton candy stand. "Which colour do you want?"

Like any typical child of her age, Leia was sometimes overwhelmed by the sights and sounds around her. There might be a few times that she just might get distracted by something new and exciting.

But right now, her attention returns to the cotton candy. "Pink please!"

She digs through her pockets and fishes out her wallet. "Here. You'll buy it yourself." Getting children used to handling money and all that. It was in one of the books and sounded quite reasonable.

She'll steer Leia over to the booth, looking over the things offered in it to see if there's anything that might interest herself.

Leia nervously handed over the money in exchange for the cotton candy. A quick glance to make sure she didn't need to wait for change.

"What are you waiting for?"

She should be waiting for change - that were two twos, not two ones that she gave the vendor, but Saga wants to know if she's waiting for that or something else - she'll fix it herself if Leia isn't waiting for change.

"Um. A dollar?" Leia held out her hand for the change she figured was due.
