[Leia still can't believe she's on a planet like Tatooine. They weren't supposed to land here, but troubles with their ship made it necessary to land at the edge of a tiny settlement called Anchorhead. ("By Tatooine standards, this is a town," Suna Terrik, their pilot, told her, and Leia couldn't help her bug-eyed surprise.)

Father says she has to stay inside, and she's nearly willing to obey--he doesn't usually make rules like that, and there's a tightness around his eyes that says this is serious--but she doesn't see why she can't take a few steps outside. It's not every day she gets to go to the Outer Rim, let alone to a world as desolate and adventurous-seeming as Tatooine. Besides, he's so busy that he probably won't notice anyway.

She ventures out and tries her best to quell the guilty knot in her stomach by looking around at the vast emptiness around them. It's like nothing she's ever seen before.]

"What, being a teenager the first time wasn't enough, you wanna go through it twice?" Gabriel snarks the moment he sees Dean. He's sure Dean will immediately blame him for the situation unless he's managed to find the real cause, but oh well. Not like he doesn't blame him for everything else.

[Aunt Beru had taken him with her when she went into Anchorhead today, but Luke had soon left the town kids after Biggs had to go back home. Mostly because Fixer was there and that meant the others would go along with the whole Wormie thing.

And anyway, Aunt Beru would be able to find him. It wasn't like Anchorhead was large, and he wasn't gonna leave the area... especially not when a huge, shiny spaceship landed at the outskirts.

How could he stay away from that? Of course he can't, so that's how he's standing in the shadow of one of the buildings nearest to the ship, eyeing the ramp and wondering how much trouble he might, exactly, get into if he---

Luke's thoughts of sneaking onboard come to a halt when he spots the girl sneaking down the ramp herself. He can't tell much at this distance, but her white clothes practically glow in the sunlight, and if he's ever been sure of anything, Luke's sure he's looking at a princess.

She looks kind of worried, though, so after a look around and spotting no adults, Luke leaves his not-really-cool spot in the shadow and crosses the hard-packed sand between the ship an the building he'd been standing by.]

[Has she been kidnapped? Is she thirsty? He's not sure why she'd need to look worried, otherwise. What would a princess need to be worried about, after all? (Though landing on Tatooine might make anyone look displeased...)]

Saga never expected to have a child, or even to have to take care of one - that would require being a mother or friends or family with children, and she'd seen none of that in her future, albeit for slightly different reasons.

And then she came here and found herself not only with one but with two of them. Which led to a rather complicated time and a trip to the library to find some books on child rearing. If she has to fill this role, she wants to succeed at it, or at least not fail. One of them mentioned "quality time" on "outings", and the one option that sounded interesting to her was the amusement park. Rollercoasters and the like seemed much more straightforward and like they'd keep the girl's attention all by themselves, demanding less small talk.
