[She's rather far from home, but at least this is a half-way decent place to stop and get a bite to eat. There's already a cup of steamy coffee next to her as she's wearily looking over the menu.]

[He slides into the booth opposite her with his own cup, not looking too close at the person he's actually talking to.] Hey, Akiko, did you get lost, we're over-- [He gets a better look.] You're not Akiko.

[Natsumi's eyebrow knots in confusion upon hearing that voice. Isn't that...?

She puts the menu down and--yes...yes it is.] Aren't you one of those two-in-one guys?

Yeah, and aren't you that girl that hangs out with Decade? [He looks around a bit, plainly a little concerned. Tsukasa showing his face usually meant trouble was close at his heels.]

[She stops looking at him sullenly when she realizes, a few moments later, that he's looking around for the man in question.]

He's not around here; it's just me.

[And Kivaara, though Heavens knows where that tiny partner of her's is at this time of night.]

Ah, yeah, that's right. [And he does look a little relieved when she confirms that Tsukasa isn't around.]

What brings you out here at this time of night?

Just making sure that anything causing trouble is of this world, and not another one. Kivaara should be back very soon.

[She takes a sip of her coffee...then makes a face and puts more cream into it.]

Is your partner here as well?

[tanteiotaku]

[Shrug] He's doing some research that makes too much damn noise. He's so focused on it that it's easier to just wait it out.

Really? How noisy is it this time?

[tanteiotaku]

Drums. [He huffs and takes a drink of his coffee.]

Drums? What could be so important that he'd be researching that at this time of night?

[tanteiotaku]

[Another shrug] He got on the topic about 2 this afternoon and there's been constant drumming all over the office ever since. Hopefully he'll find something else soon.

[summerorange]

[A long-suffering sigh.] I think you need to talk to him about how long and deep he gets into these things...

[Ah, there's the waitress. Natsumi takes a few moments to give her order to the worker.]
