The bickering did not begin with me, but I can hardly be expected to bite my tongue once it starts.

Am I to be blamed as much for honesty as I would be for secrecy? I said he would have the old god's soul, not that he would be a creature with tentacles or five heads. He is a boy, Alistair, and a fine one, fortunately much kinder than either of us.
