The fact that you're in a relationship with this person isn't public knowledge. Actually, no one knows about it except for the people involved. Maybe you guys are just private like that; on the other hand, it may be a necessity to keep things a secret from others. Maybe you're both team mates, and others on the team would give you grief, or you're not suppose to be dating, or you're not the type to usually date and you're only testing the waters. Perhaps it's the combination of you two, possibly an odd couple, that would bring some controversy or some teasing. Or, you know, you could not want to deal with friends and relatives being busybodies. Your reasons are your own.

Are you content with stealing moments to be together as a couple? Do you want to make your relationship known and the fact that you can't drives you batty? Remember, there are lots of benefits to dating in secret. You can be yourselves completely, away from prying eyes, and get to know each other better as potential longterm romantic partners. In a way, it's ideal.

[ooc: m/m and m/f both okay, but preferably only characters that are also teens. (ftr I generally play him as sixteen.) sora is likely the party who would wish to show this love off rather than keep it hidden.]

[Sora's been coming to Twilight Town more often lately. Hayner and Pence (the poor dears) are under the impression it's because of the Struggles, or even that poor Sora needs a part-time job. ("Don't we all?" Olette had teased them, before nudging them back towards their homework.)

She hadn't argued with their assumptions. They could be way too overprotective sometimes, and honestly - the less people that knew, the better. People gossiped in Twilight Town, and Olette wasn't keen on adding additional fuel to the fire. Or so she told herself as she waited at the train station for Sora, with a batch of freshly-baked cookies in hand. Their secrecy was necessary, at least as far as her friends were concerned.

This evening, all of her local friends were preoccupied: Hayner and Pence had an exam in the morning; Vivi was visiting his grandpa; and even Seifer's gang had found another part of town to terrorize. The town was all hers for a few hours, and she couldn't think of a better person to spend it with. Sure, the sunset is eternal here, but she swears that for just a second, it looks like the sun'll actually set on them.]

[Thankfully, Sora has yet to be directly asked about his suddenly more frequent presence in Twilight Town, thanks to those assumptions being made. So for now, he's neither corrected those assumptions nor has he really been lying to Hayner and Pence. Though he would have been just as happy to outright tell them that he was mostly coming around to spend more time with Olette, that they were sort of... Well, they were kind of...

Okay, see he also gets Olette's point, with this thing that's so new, that they're still figuring out, it's better not to let it bear too much scrutiny from the outside, especially if it involved gossip. And gossip and rumors could get weirdly out of hand in Twilight Town, Sora knew that much just from being a frequent visitor!

Still, finding Olette waiting for him with freshly baked goods as he steps off the train seems... not very hidden, or secretive. Not that he cares. A smile instantly lights up his face as he hurries over to her.] Hey! Those for me?

Uh-huh. [His happiness is contagious - she can't help grinning in return as she holds them out for him. Sure, she might as well be wearing a neon sign that says 'I'm out with my boyfriend,' but right now, she doesn't really care.

Everyone else is off doing their own thing, so she can take a break from being the responsible one for a few hours. (Though she may text the boys halfway in, just to make sure they're studying.)]

I figured, it's a long train ride, so... sweets for the sweetest? [They're mostly chocolate chip, with a few double chocolate ones wedged in there. While she can - and does - go all out on her cookies, simple might be best this round.] Sorry, that was cheesy even in my head. But hey, we've got the neighborhood to ourselves tonight! Everyone's kinda doing other things, so I don't think they'll pay us much attention.

[At her answer, his smile widens and he takes the cookies from her as she offers them, giving them a look over and barely managing to refrain from eating several right then and there. It was kind of a long train ride, and they looked delicious. Which, he should probably tell her that, that's a good boyfriend thing to do.] They look really great!

[He can't help but laugh and shake his head at the cheesy comment. It's okay, Olette, Sora appreciates cheesy. To thank her, he leans forward to give her a quick kiss on the cheek, after a brief glance around to make sure no one was watching them.]

Hm. That's good, it gets kinda tiring having to worry about people seeing us all the time... [At this point, finally he cannot refrain any longer and sticks one of the cookies in his mouth. And, while chewing -- though he's covering his mouth with his hand, at least!! -- he asks:] You already got something planned for tonight, then? Besides eating cookies?

[Don't hate him for already starting on those, please, they looked so good!]

They do? [She sighs of relief, her smile growing wider as she allows herself to relax. Olette can't help it - even if she wants to publicly show her affection for Sora, there's always that nagging feeling that someone will catch them in the act. With his friends, she doesn't worry so much. (Donald and Goofy can't exactly report back to her grandmother.) Still, her cheeks flush at his kiss, and she desperately resists the urge to return that affection--

Well. The cookies are a pretty good deterrent. She giggles, partially because at her own darn luck and partially at how adorable he looks like this.] Of course! This is like, a once in a lifetime chance to do all the stuff we talked about. I didn't plan-plan it, but the sky's the limit, so... where do you wanna start?

[She might as well have planned it, though - she had definitely checked with most places to ensure that no one relevant might be around. (Well, except her parents and her grams. Those were unavoidable.)]
