...No i really think you need to explain now, Hunter.

Need to know. All you need to know is that the baby is perfectly fine, scout's honour.
onthefitz: (Oh um well)

[personal profile] onthefitz 2015-04-25 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
Hunter.

Does Coulson know?
trainspotting: (08)

[personal profile] trainspotting 2015-04-25 02:03 am (UTC)(link)
About the baby? Unless he's the father, doubt it.

Seriously, mate, the baby's fine. The mission's just off to a rocky start, that's all. Not my fault swaddled babies look surprisingly similar to tactical gear when they're in those adorable little backpacks.
onthefitz: (What hey hold on)

[personal profile] onthefitz 2015-04-25 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
You picked up a random baby because you thought it was your tactical gear?????

Hunter!

Take it back!
trainspotting: (02)

[personal profile] trainspotting 2015-04-25 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
Mission's still in progress. Hotel lobby compromised. That's the baby's point of origin, for reference.

Which is to say I'll bring it back as soon as the mark's moved on. Didn't exactly join the military to babysit infants in bathrooms, did I.
onthefitz: (You don't get it!)

[personal profile] onthefitz 2015-04-25 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
Oh my god Hunter this is bad. This is so bad.

What if you can't find its parents?

You just kidnapped a baby!
trainspotting: (11)

[personal profile] trainspotting 2015-04-25 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
Then we'll adopt her and name her after Captain America. I've heard coparenting's the next big thing.

Fitz, I've got it. She'd already been left on the sofa, she's probably safer with me than she'd been waiting for her mum to finish her screaming match with the concierge.
onthefitz: (Crap not good!)

[personal profile] onthefitz 2015-04-25 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
...Did we just enter into a domestic partnership?

How exactly are you going to explain to her and the authorities that you just accidentally picked up a baby?
trainspotting: (12)

[personal profile] trainspotting 2015-04-25 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
Depends, how long have we been in shared residence at the Playground?

And I was planning on explaining it not at all, actually. I'm just waiting for a quiet moment to slip in and leave her with the front desk.
onthefitz: (Excuse me?)

[personal profile] onthefitz 2015-04-25 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
Time sort of blurs after awhile so I have no idea.

So you're going to drop a baby at the front desk. Like a package.

You are

I can't even

:|

[personal profile] trainspotting 2015-04-25 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
I'm incredibly clever, I know.

Look, it's not as if I'm going to wait till it's unattended, just until the lobby's a bit less occupied by men with concealed weapons. She'll be taken care of.
onthefitz: (Wary and Serious)

[personal profile] onthefitz 2015-04-25 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
Clever is not the word I would use.

And she better be or you're never going to hear the end of it.
trainspotting: (11)

[personal profile] trainspotting 2015-04-25 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
So you're that sort of domestic partner, then. I see how it is.

She likes me, btw. Hasn't cried once. Like I said, would've been worse off on the sofa.

[ Because if the baby likes him then kidnapping is ok, obviously. ]
onthefitz: (The games we play)

[personal profile] onthefitz 2015-04-25 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
I didn't say that! And we're not even really domestic partners, don't be like that!

That would be cute if the situation wasn't so serious.

[Your logic, Hunter. It's bad.]
trainspotting: (02)

[personal profile] trainspotting 2015-04-25 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
Well, she's still very cute. Irreverently cute, you might say.

I'm thinking "Stephanie".

[ Who needs logic when you can screw with Fitz, lbr. ]
onthefitz: (Frustration)

[personal profile] onthefitz 2015-04-25 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
Hunter.

You can't name the baby.

She's not ours

Yours

PUT HER BACK.
trainspotting: (15)

[personal profile] trainspotting 2015-04-25 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, alright, it'll just be a temporary name. A code name.

Anyway, Steph's mum just left the lobby without noticing. Either I've ID'd the wrong mother or the baby situation's more complicated than I'd initially assumed.
onthefitz: (Blank Stare)

[personal profile] onthefitz 2015-04-25 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
We're going to be stuck with a baby now aren't we?

Coulson is not going to be happy.

SHIELD life is not a good place to raise a child. :|
trainspotting: (10)

[personal profile] trainspotting 2015-04-25 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
We aren't seriously adopting a baby. There are channels for this sort of thing. Official ones.
onthefitz: (Excuse me?)

[personal profile] onthefitz 2015-04-25 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
We can't exactly waltz into an adoption agency.
trainspotting: (02)

[personal profile] trainspotting 2015-04-25 05:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Sure we could. Bit of undercover work, always exciting.
onthefitz: (Wary and Serious)

[personal profile] onthefitz 2015-04-26 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
Your definition of exciting scares me sometimes.
trainspotting: (08)

[personal profile] trainspotting 2015-04-26 06:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, well so does yours, mate. I'd rather go undercover than mess with your mad science.
onthefitz: (Excuse me?)

[personal profile] onthefitz 2015-04-26 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
It's not mad! That's more Jemma than me!

To a point.
