[ Suga opens the door when he hears the shy knock. He smiles at Yamaguchi, trying to make him feel comfortable, and then holds the door open wide so he can come in. ]
[Yamaguchi stares at him, but doesn't come in. One look at his blown pupils should tell Sugawara that his kouhai has had way, way too much to drink tonight.]
'M okay.
Thanks for lettin' me come over...Suga... [The words are slurred, though not enough to be difficult to understand.]
[ Suga's eyes are wide with concern when he sees the state Yamaguchi's in. He steps forward—jeez, it's cold out here—and wraps an arm around Yamaguchi's shoulders, gently tugging him into the house. ]
Don't worry about it. Come inside, okay? It's late. [ Also, his neighbors are nosy, and Suga absolutely does not want word of this getting back to his parents. ]
[Yamaguchi stiffens for a moment at the contact—it's not unwelcome, far from it, he just wasn't expecting it—before relaxing in Sugawara's hold and letting the upperclassman lead him into the house. He's a bit unsteady on his feet, but not too bad. He does lean into Sugawara unconsciously for warmth as they go.]
[ Suga's relieved when Yamaguchi doesn't put up a fight. He looks down when he feels the soft thump of contact against his side and smiles a little.
He glances at his own shoes, neatly lined up in the entranceway, but decides it isn't worth dealing with right now. Instead he guides them down the hallway—considering the options: his bedroom, the living room—and flicks on the light in the kitchen. If Yamaguchi has any...accidents, they'll probably be easiest to clean up here.
The room is organized but lived-in, with small family touches here and there if you look hard enough. He glances around the table before deciding to ease Yamaguchi into the closest chair. ]
Just relax, okay?
[ His hand lingers on Yamaguchi's shoulder for another moment, trying to figure out if it's okay to leave him. Then he nods a little to himself and gives his hair a quick ruffle, on impulse, before turning away to pour a glass of water from the tap. ]
[Sugawara doesn't need to worry about an accident, since Yamaguchi already threw up pretty much everything in his stomach on the way over. But, he'll take the glass of water when offered and ease down into his chair, sipping gratefully to ease the awful taste in his mouth.]
Thanks. [He knows they're probably going to have to talk about this, but Yamaguchi won't be the one to offer. He knows he won't be able to shut up if he starts talking.]
[ Well that explains why Yamaguchi is so pale, at least. Suga plunks down in the seat to Yamaguchi's left and leans his weight onto his elbows, propping his cheek on the heel of his hand. He's definitely looking Yamaguchi over, but it's a mild look, not piercing at all. ]
Where was the party? Did you have to walk far?
[ Who were you with, he doesn't ask. He doesn't really know how to broach the topic either, so he figures easing into it is the best method. ]
[Yamaguchi startles a bit when Sugawara abruptly sits down next to him, but despite his nervous fidgeting he manages to mumble out an answer not long after.]
Party was at Tsukki's house? His brother Akiteru-kun's home from school for the weekend, and...their volleyball team wanted to celebrate a winning game. It was pretty fun. [Until it wasn't, but.]

And, um, do you...not want it to be happening?

This has happened before, right? Was it the same person?

Do you want to come over? If you don't feel comfortable staying there, I mean. It's okay if you don't want to, I'll keep talking to you.

Oh. Yeah! You can come over. My parents aren't home, so it's no trouble.
Do you think you could get here by yourself? Or do you want me to come get you? I'm not doing anything, anyway.
[ Suga is fretting over the thought of a drunken kouhai stumbling through the streets. Sure, their small town isn't very dangerous, but still. ]

Where do you live Suga-san ?
