MORNING AFTER MEME

Last night was pretty wild, or maybe it wasn't. You have just woken up, but you are not alone. Perhaps it is a stranger lying next to you, perhaps it's someone you know. It might be your significant other, or a one night stand. The fact remains that you are in bed together, naked (or maybe not) and something happened.

[ Unfortunately --- maybe not gently enough. Natsuki's glasses slid down unto the bed. For one brief moment, Natsuki lay like that. Frozen.

Suddenly --- he grasped her wrists tightly and pushed her on the bed. He trapped her hands above her, keeping her still. This was very much unlike Natsuki. It was like another person entirely.

Finally, Natsuki looked up --- but instead of the puppy-dog eyes behind the glasses, these were the eyes of an angry lion. He didn't say anything for a long time. ]

Proper? Do you always do what you are told?

[She doesn't get the time to appreciate him not nuzzling against her before down she went. It was a flurry of movement, bedsheets and hair and the next thing she knew? Her arms were stretched above her head, back against the mattress and she was thoroughly caught off-guard.

Not that she had been doing very well on-guard anyhow.

Shurei quickly turned her eyes up to the man, surprise faded off in place of a harsher glance and a ready, 'What do you think you're doing' on her lips.

It got thoroughly cut off by the look. If anything, the grasp on her wrists had told her this wasn't anything playful. Now the look made that firmly evident. She gave him a wide-eyed stare, not exactly frightened but more confused.
Still, she has the presence of mind to answer his question perfectly seriously. One doesn't wish for a government seat without being able to talk when the heat is on... so to speak.

Though she would never have to speak in front of other officials absolutely naked but...]

Eh? No. Not at all. This isn't something I'm told though, it's common propriety and manners.

Propriety and manners? Ah. Aren't we the little princess?

[ Natsuki began laughing harshly. Not playful or child-like. It was a mocking laugh.

It must be strange seeing a laugh like that from a person who just a few minutes ago was whining like a little puppy.

Using one hand to keep her hands in place, his other hand was free to roam wherever he liked. In this case, he was now stroking the slim curve of her waist. ]

Have you ever thought of having a bit of fun?

[ He laughs again, remembering that they were naked on the bed. . ] ...then again. Maybe you have. I can't imagine what kind of fun you'd have with Natsuki.

[She really had to blink at that, surprise showing clearly on her face. That didn't seem at all correct, no. She had thought he was thoroughly harmless but now.

A flush rose quick over her cheeks once again as his hand decided to roam. As earlier, she moved the opposite direction as his hand trailed her waist.
She huffed as she spoke.]

A bit of fun, that--

[Then she paused as he spoke in what she assumed to be third person.]

No. Nothing like that happened.

[For one, she believed thoroughly in her self control, though that could naturally be proven wrong. For another...]

You seemed too kind to take advantage of someone, no matter what state she may have been in. I'm sorry to see I was wrong about that.

[A wolf in sheep's clothing? It wouldn't be the first time, though the last one hadn't managed to steal away more than a portion of her heart. Certainly none of her body.]

[ His hand forced her face to look at him, his eyes darkening angrily. To say the least, he looked very unhappy. ]

Do not make the mistake of thinking I am anything like Natsuki, Hime.

[ Giving her that nickname because it seemed to really suit her. She talked about propriety and manners like some kind of aristocrat or diplomat. ]

Natsuki is taking a nap at the moment. I am Satsuki.

[Her brow furrows at just how angry that seemed to make him. The irony of him managing to pick out her usual title as a nickname wasn't lost on her, even if she was more concerned with his sharp gaze.]

Satsuki then...

[Did he have a similar problem as Eigetsu and Yogetsu? He hadn't been drinking though.

Her expression softened after a moment. When one was at a disadvantage like this, careful thinking was key. Weigh the decision from angles. Hostility wouldn't do much good, she quickly decided. So instead, she leaned towards a softer level of agreement.]

I didn't know. I'll be more respectful of the difference in the future.

[Now she kept her eyes on his.]

If you wouldn't mind, I would like to get up now.

[ Satsuki was smirking. It was a smirk that said, You must be kidding. He wasn't done amusing himself ...

... besides, having her under him and at his mercy wasn't a bad feeling at all. ]

What is the hurry? Why don't we stay in bed like this a little longer?

[ His face began to slowly descend until their foreheads touched. ]

If you are bored, I am sure we can find something to do.

[Aaah, she knew that one. She sighed out, at least until he was forehead to forehead with her. Then Shurei flushed - if he was close before, he was far too close now. A bit more and the pair would be chest to chest.

This was always when she had most of her men troubles, when they were up close and personal. She was simply no good at saying no. And in this instance, there wasn't much she could do besides talk.]

I'm not bored, just... ah. Cold. I mean, I've been undressed all night and I might catch something if I stay like this.

[It wasn't a lie, she was cold. And she was prone to getting sick too.]

[ He grinned and began kissing a path down her neck. Satsuki was making fun of her. That much should be clear by now. He wanted to shed the conservative mask he believed that she had on.

Females were all the same after all. Deep inside they wanted the same thing. They just wanted to have a little fun. ]

Well, isn't it good then that I know just the activity ... to warm you up.

Since Natsuki disappointed you so much ...

[She knew this sensation of being made fun of. She never liked it either. It wasn't right to use her bodily responses to mock her and it likewise offended her that they would even crop up in the first place.

Her stomach tightened at the trail of kisses and her expression settled into a harsh frown. She couldn't precisely wiggle away, since he was this close and wiggling wouldn't help. The comment though rubbed her the wrong way. And par usual, Shurei had to say precisely what she thought.]

Natsuki didn't disappoint me. I don't really know him, I can't tell you what happened last night... but the fact that I'm here means he didn't disappoint me. I would never have gone anywhere with him and I would never have gone to bed with him if he had disappointed me.

If anyone is disappointing me right now, it's you.

[ Maybe it was his ego, but at that declaration Satsuki froze --- pulled away and stared at her like it was his first time actually seeing her.

No one has ever told him something like that before. She was being honest. It was in her eyes. ]

[ Surprisingly, even without his glasses, his expression suddenly changed and softened. His eyes became Natsuki's friendlier eyes.

He lets go of her wrists and pushed away from her. ]

I'm sorry. Did I hurt you?

[The moment he pushed away, Shurei sat up and dropped her gaze to her wrists briefly. The quick change had been a surprise but not a shock. She had obviously said something that surprised Satsuki. And briefly she quietly wondered what it was precisely.

She gave Natsuki a light smile after studying his face a moment. Then she turned a little, feeling around the bed until she found his glasses.]

Here, you probably need these, right?

[She shook her head as she offered out his glasses to him.]

I'm fine, don't worry. Are you alright?

[ Natsuki gave a small smile, accepted his glasses and puts it on. He had always been aware of Satsuki, but before now he had never felt angry for anything he ever did.

Now was different.

What he had said and tried to do to Shurei was unforgivable. He frowned a bit showing his disappointment in himself. ]

Yes. I am. I'm sorry, Shu-chan. What Satsuki did wasn't right ...

You must be mad now.

Of course I am. With him though, not with you.

[She sighed out lightly there, reaching up to brush disheveled hair from her eyes.]

I'm not sure what went on last night. I don't even remember why I'm here honestly. And this whole nudity thing is a little troubling...

[Then she fixed her eyes back on him.]

As I told Satsuki though, he was the one disappointing me. Whatever happened, it's obvious to me that I went along with it willingly. You weren't rough, you weren't harsh and I wouldn't have ended up in a bed with you if I thought you were either of those things.

[With that, a firm nod and another smile.]

So it's alright.
