[The words come out as he raises a finger to point towards the comet trailing its tail across the sky. Sure, it was pretty and all, but... seriously? That was what this big deal was about??]

( the small fry was good at vegging and whining when he needed to. kageyama just had not learned it applied to his teammates as well. not a specialty, it was something that could get him by -- he honestly didn't want to be alone.

who needed a gym when you had bonds? well, hinata was mainly acquainted with his team, but they treated him like a certain third wheel because of his height. either way, he'd try his best. )

( hands placed in his lap, he followed the comet with wide, excited eyes. it was especially nice to share it with a friend. turning to him, he slapped both his hands on his shoulders. ) i'm glad you came!

[Oh good grief... it takes all of his willpower not to roll his eyes at the evident excitement in Hinata's voice and movement. Though his irritation is slowly fading as he watches the comet make its way across the sky.

Geh! What are you hitting me for?? I'm pretty glad I came too, okay?!

[Oh... yeah, that slipped out, didn't it? It's just... kind of nice to have friends for once, okay, though Kageyama can barely admit that to himself.]

( you better be glad. and you better sit down beside him, too. he grins, patting his cheek firmly, he turns back to the sky. with one hand on his shoulder, he smirked slyly. )

don't be a big baby. and good! you wouldn't have came if you weren't having fun.

( it may have slipped out but hinata knew he liked it. maybe he even liked being with him? but that was rarest of all. )

[Gaaaaaahhhhhhh, fine. He sits down next to Hinata, looking grumpy. But when doesn't he look grumpy amirite?]
