The Icons First Meme



The premise is pretty simple:

1) Go to post a comment.
2) Before you type anything, click the "Random icon" button.
3) This is now your icon. This is the expression your character has. This is what she is wearing. This is what he has in his mouth. This is what is happening.
3) Your tag must now be based on the icon.
4) Reply to others, always choosing a random icon first.
5) Let the hijinks occur!

Note: As the poster of this meme, I have no problems with nsfw icons, and in fact think they can add to instruction #5. Just give your threadmates a little warning for a happy and healthy meme-ing experience.

[Stitch's ears perk up. Giant spiders are great, but Winry can actually build things that destroy stuff! Creatively! Maybe she'll let him test it!]

Oooooooh! What this one do?

I designed this one to punch someone from a long way away!

[Someone who appreciates her work, at last!]

[Even if he's (mostly) good now, Stitch was designed by an Evil Genius, and therefore has an innate love for all things Shiny, Metal, and Definitely Dangerous. He claps his hands.]

Eeee hee hee! Stitch punch or Stitch target?!

[Really, he's good with either!]

[But Winry would be horrified to hit Stitch, even if she does know he's got a harder head than even Edward Elric!]

You're going to try it out for me! I set up a target over there.

[She points, and there's a mound of hay bales, with a makeshift archery butt on it.]

[That's IF she managed to hit him. She's been successful with the wrench, but that's because Stitch thinks it's a sign of affection. Winry makes really funny faces!

He happily clamors up next to the device, and begins to make adjustments, muttering. Another thing that's fun about about the engineer - she lets him figure out inventions on his own! Finally ready, he slams down one last switch.]

Go go GO! HAHAHAHA!

[hands4healing]

[AND IT GOES!!! The end of it lunges out of the barrel, and whistles like a banshee wind as it rushes toward the target. The fisty-plunger-thing end thuds into the target, flipping the butt end over end, and leaving behind a smoking bit.

...which totally wasn't what Winry expected.]

I may need to recalibrate, huh?

[She grins at Stitch, sure he'd want her to add more power to the weapon.]

[Okay Stitch... may have added some extra torque there. Can you blame him?! The backlash has sent the blue fuzzball tumbling to the ground, where he's laughing and clapping with all four hands.]

Whoooooooooo!

[Undaunted, he bounces back up.]

Again! Yeah, again!

[Hmmm, she's not happy about the backlash knocking Stitch backward, but that's okay. She can fix that.]

Can you put together the target again, and I'll work on your punch gun? [Because it would be Stitch's, everyone else is kind of scared at the weapons and gadgets they build together.]

[Nodding, Stitch begins gathering up the shards of wood. Then he notices the nearby pond, still rippling from the blast. Hmmm. Winry's still tweaking, and he has a board and water...]

Cowabungaaaaa!

[Winry's good as her word, she's done some work to modify the recoil - Stitch is a sturdy little guy, and being so low to the ground and flexible, he wouldn't mind getting knocked backward, but she likes weapons anyone can use.]

Now, let's try this...

[Where is Stitch, anyway? What...is he doing?]

[Stitch has paddled a larger board to the center of the pond. Sadly, the water has calmed and refuses to generate so much as a ripple! Stitch growls in anoyance. He likes visiting Winry, but hasn't gotten to surf in WEEKS!]

Stupid lousy tiny ocean!

I'll build you a wave machine next, but I need your help with this now!

[She's not quite as growly as she looks. Besides, she kind of wants to learn how to surf, too.]

Yeah good deal! And Stitch can teach Winry to hang ten!

[If anyone can do it, Winry can! Grinning, Stitch makes his way back to shore.]

What we shoot now?!

There's that old barn that needs to come down...

[Her laugh is an evil laugh.]

[Yes! Death to the barn! Gritting his teeth in concentration, Stitch takes aim. The gun seems to be a taking a bit longer to charge this time... and is supposed to be glowing red?]

Hey!

[Winry shouts, at the gun rather than Stitch.]

You're not supposed to be doing that!

[The gun shudders, shakes, and then lets out a blinding blast of crimson as the projectile fist launches! When the smoke clears there is no more barn - only a pile of matchsticks.

Cheering, Stitch jumps down and grabs Winry's arm, raising it in a victory!]

Yes! The crowd goes wild!!! Whoooooooo!

[Well. That wasn't exactly expected?]

I think I need to tweak the gun a little more.

[But she grabs Stitch anyway and dances with him, because someone was gonna get hurt in that rickety ol' barn! Yeah, that's what we'll say.]

[Stitch laughs as Winry spins them around and around. Then his ears twitch up as he notices the gun is still glowing... and getting brighter. The smell of ozone hangs heavy in the air.]

Uh oh...

[hands4healing]

What uh oh?

[Winry looks around, and sees the gun. Oh no.]

Oh, no! Stitch, run!

[mapsincolor]

[There's not enough time. Stitch can sense the overload building too fast. He'll be fine - he's fast. If he can't out-run it, well, he's been designed to take laser blasts to the face and direct hits from semis.

Winry's not so lucky. No way she'll get clear in time!

One chance left - the lake. Yanking the gun from its base, Stitch bolts toward the water and heaves it in!]

Jabunga!

[hands4healing]

[AND THE WATER GOES SPLODEY!]


[Water splashes everywhere, as well as fish, a couple of turtles, and some frogs. A couple of water birds squawk as they flap away. And Winry and Stitch are both completely soaked. Possibly with a frog on one of their heads.]

[Winry looks down at herself, then over at Stitch. And starts to grin.]

I know someone would want a gun like that!

[Now THAT was a wave! Too bad there wasn't enough time to get a board. Stitch shakes enthusiastically, spitting cat tails out of his mouth. Blech. That stuff tastes awful! He bares all his teeth, trying to pick the weeds out.]

Yeah, but now gun in pieces! And underwater! Sorry.

[hands4healing]

[For a few seconds, Winry looks like she's gonna go splodey, too, but she backs down.]

Well. I have all the plans. We can make another one!
