[Fluttershy sighs softly as she starts putting away some things, glancing outside at as the rain continued to pour outside.

Normally she didn't mind the rain, and even found rainy days to be pretty and relaxing. Unfortunately, she and Chris had planned to go on a picnic out in the field by her house today...which now they had to cancel.

With another wistful sigh, she starts unpacking the food from the basket to put it away. Maybe another day.]

[Chris leaned against the counter, watching her put away the food. He felt bad about it, even though weather control was nowhere near his list of possible powers.

As an idea occurred to him he blinked, then sat up a little.]

Hey, Fluttershy? What if we did it indoors?

[She blinked and glanced up at him.]

Hmm...? Did what?

[There were many things he could have meant by that.]

The picnic. [He smiled, his chin braced on one hand.]

We could just have it inside.

[She blinked again. That never occurred to her before.]

You think so...?

I don't see why not. We could take the food and sit by the large window, watch the storm...

[His tail turned slowly as he thought, and he smiled.] It sounds nice.

[She thought for a moment, glancing towards the window in question, then turning back to him with a smile.]

Mm, okay...it does sound really nice.

[He grinned as he stood up, walking around the counter and over to where she stood.]

Y'want any help with the food?

[strengthinkindness]

[She shakes her head a little, smiling at him.] Mm...I think I've got it. But you can set the blanket up...

[He nodded, taking a moment to kiss her on the cheek before he walked to the livingroom to pull the a blanket off the couch.]

[She smiles, squeezing his hand before he departs. Then she starts packing up the food back in the basket she had it all in.

If they were doing a picnic indoors, they had to do it right...]

[Pulling off the blanket, he took it over to the plate window and grasped the edges, whipping it up and letting it waft down to the floor. Kneeling down on it, he leaned over and started spreading out the wrinkles.]

[Soon she was finished repacking everything - even if they were just going to unpack it all anyway, she didn't mind.

Carefully picking up the basket, she headed into the living room.]

[Sitting on it by now, he looked around as Fluttershy came over, and he smiled at her. His tail was relaxed in a wide curve to his side, perfectly etching out a space for her to sit.]

[She giggled a little, walking over and sitting within the ring his tail made, scooting close to him before opening up the picnic basket.]

[He smiled and nudged closer to her, leaning back on his hands and watching her a moment, then looking out at the rain.]

[She nuzzled into him a bit, enjoying his warmth especially on a day like this. Then she reached into the picnic basket.]
