1. Bubble Bath ;
Here, the characters are sharing a humongous bubble bath with all the froth they can handle. The scent is delicious, the water is warm—go on, enjoy yourselves!
2. Shower ;
Perhaps not as fun as a bubble bath, but hey, at least it's built to accommodate two. Don’t slip!
3. Hot Tub ;
A whirlpool of warmth and—mm. Don't mind me. I'll just be sinking in.
4. Hot Springs ;
An outdoors bath is good, too, right? Or maybe this is part of a hotel. Either way, it sure is steamy.
5. Decadent Bath ;
There could be bubbles here, or maybe just those wonderful smelling oils and salts. Aww, yeah. This bath probably cost a small fortune, so you should enjoy it while it lasts.
6. Lake ;
In case the hot springs weren't rugged enough for you, here's an actual lake, complete with waterfall for all your rinsing pleasures.
7. Other ;
Anything else that may have been forgotten!

[ bubbles, bubbles, everywhere. at least it means that they're going to be clean, right? or at least, they will be if levi has his way. at the moment he's holding a large-toothed comb and is eyeing hange's tangled mess of hair critically, still clothed and crouched next to the tub. ]

I should have known it'd get like this. Fucking hell, I should have done this sooner.

[ The installation of the bubble making machines is perhaps one of the best investment the military has done for their public baths.

....Which just makes him in clothes all the more strange. She leans against the edge of the tub, letting her damp hair fall into his hands. ] I can't believe you're actually doing this...

[curtailment]

I said I would, didn't I?

[ he picks up a piece of wet hair, sticking the teeth of the comb into it and starting to pick at the knots. ]

This is going to take forever.

[deviantlyhates]

Again...?

[ It almost comes out as a complaint. Almost. ] You might as well hop into the bath as well.

[curtailment]

[ he sighs. being in the military makes people throw modesty aside, but he's slightly discomforted by all the... froth. that many bubbles isn't natural. ]

Get started.

[ hands her the comb, and then stands up to undress. show him what you've learned about combing your hair..! ]

[ She's learned all of next to nothing. When he looks back he'll find that the comb is literally stuck in her hair. It seems she doesn't know that with tangled hair, one must start at the bottom. ] Levi, it's... stuck.

[curtailment]

[ oh good god. he folds his clothes (neatly!) and sets them aside before climbing into the bath. ]

Hand it over. [ sighhh. he'll do it for you. ]

[ She definitely exaggerates just to annoy him. Without looking over her shoulder, she hands the comb back to him. ] And there is not a speck of Titan blood on the comb, too... [ Titan blood evaporates anyway. ]

[curtailment]

I'm sure.

[ he sticks the comb into a tangled chunk of hair, picking at it carefully with the large teeth until it starts to smooth out. ]

What did you even do to yourself?

[ seriously. they both fight tightens all day and somehow her hair always gets way more tangled than his, though, to be fair, his hair is much shorter. ]

Well, of course I made it extra-messy just for you.

[ It takes a good deal of self restraint to not flinch as be pulls the teeth through the ends of her hair. ]

[curtailment]

Uh-huh.

[ once the ends are clear, he moves on a little higher, holding onto the hair above where he's combing so he doesn't tug on her scalp anymore. ]

Fuck, there's still dirt in here. [ in the knots of her hair, he means. he's not entirely clean himself, after a trip outside the walls. ]

Of course there is! [ She states matter of factly: ] You go into a bath dirty, you don't go into a bath clean. That defeats the purpose of the bath in the first place!

[curtailment]

I mean, they're chunks of it — ugh. Fuck.

[ pulls lightly on her hair to make her lean her head back. he wants to dip her hair into the water to clean it, as soon as possible.

just a captain and a squad leader sitting in a bath full of bubbles, cleaning each other's hair. nothing to see here. ]

Chunks of-- [ Whoops can't finish. Her head is pulled back and her entire upper body with it as she dunked into the water.

She sputters as she lifts her face out of the bubbles, not fully resurfacing. Instead it's just her face, a lone island in a sea of bubbles looking up at him. ] I have a feeling that I'd rather have my hair all cut off at this point...

[curtailment]

[ whoops, he didn't mean to pull that hard. but at least she'll be clean now?! ]

I don't know why it isn't in the regulations. [ seriously, it would make things much neater. he works his fingers into her hair under the water, frowning in concentration. ] Whoever made those was an idiot. Along with the white pants. Every time someone falls on their ass in those it looks like they shit themselves.

[ this is the most levi ever talks about anything. ]

[ She sits up straight again, her back facing him. At his comment, her shoulders shake slightly; she's laughing. ]

....I think that's a good thing to keep, actually.

[ Let's be real, they can all use some more bathroom humor in their lives. Or any humor. ]

[curtailment]

Quit laughing, idiot.

[ bathroom humor is the only humor anyone ever needs, says levi. ]

I'm serious. If that person was still alive I'd punch them in the face for being so fucking stupid. Did they not think about things getting dirty?

If all else fails, you could make a game out of it: the one person who does not get dirt on their pants gets a free pass from listening to you.

[ A near impossible task. A near impossible prize. ]

For how long?

[ there's no way he'd let people go without listening to him for more than ten minutes. god knows they'd all be screwed without him. meanwhile, he goes back to working on combing her hair with the comb, picking painstakingly at the tangles. ]

Oh, I don't think anyone would ask for more than five minutes.

[ But think of what could be done in those five minutes!! ]

[ oh, he can only imagine. and he knows you, hange. ]

No one would win anyway.

[ She resists snorting. ] I would if I tried.

Like you could keep yourself clean around your Titans.

[ She takes tha as a challenge. To secure said challenge, she pulls away from him, turning around to face him directly. Her voice low and laced with a smile, she says, ] I'll take that bet.
