[Dorian was a charge given to Elissa by a very old "friend". Her task was to keep him out of harm's way until such a time as he could be moved elsewhere. From the outset Dor was insufferable. Neither he nor Flemeth divulged much about him. There was certainly a big reason as to why he needed protecting.

Beyond the big mystery he was also just outright a jerk. He was well-learned and certainly thought highly of himself. However it seems that someone was looking out for Elissa because as they sat at camp Dor finally gave into the exhaustion he had been fighting. The only downside is he ended up falling to his side so his head fell to her lap.]
