"Take your time. No rush." She said while rinsing the dish. Look, if he wanted an excuse to take care of his business, now was the time. She was just going to go kick herself in the other room for babbling again.

What did she even mean? Where was that sentence going to go? She took a dishtowel and started to wipe down the countertops to try to sort out her head. Everything about this place had sort of turned her life upside down. But Doyle had always been there, so... it seemed pretty obvious what she had meant, right? But there were other things to consider. Girlfriend things on her end and unrequited love things on his and... She tossed the rag down and went to go flop on the couch until he was ready because thinking about it now was going to make her head hurt.
