Unfortunately for Snape, Maleficent wasn't like Voldermort, or any other human wizard for that matter. While humans used fear and suffering as a means of gaining power or wealth or some other end, for a dark fey like Maleficent, fear and suffering was the ultimate goal. So when Snape demands to know what she wants, Maleficent can only respond with more maniacal laughter.

"HaHAHAHAha HA HA HA HA!"

A spinning vortex of shadow forms before Snape, which quickly coalesces into the form of Maleficent pointing her staff at him. Magical lightning jumps from its crystal tip at the wizard, cruel energy designed to cause intense pain without granting the victim the swift release of death.
