Hmph. It's unsurprising that he would; aside from his lack of any sophistication whatsoever, he apparently needs to take advantage of every opportunity to eat well that presents itself. As for myself, I fail to see how going to a party that I'm neither obligated to attend nor affords me the opportunity to meet or maintain relationships with potential allies in my work does me any good. Unless, of course, there's a reason why this "Abby" is interested in meeting me more important than idle curiosity?
