[The problem with sleeping in a different place is the actual sleeping part. His loft and his bed are things he's grown used to, so sleeping alone there as a human hadn't been very hard. Feeling like he's on the run to keep himself alive, though, and sleeping in a strange bed makes things harder.

So, this time, he's not asleep when it happens. When Stiles crawls himself in through the window, which, for the record, is mildly disturbing to watch because he's obviously not awake. The realization that Stiles followed his scent to find him bothers him, but he can't actively hold it against Stiles because he's not going to be happy when he wakes up.

Derek doesn't wake him, though. If it's going to happen every night, there's no point. Sending him home will just result in Stiles showing up again.]
