beyondgreeneyes: (happy face)

Trowa hummed contentedly at the gentle kiss on his cheek, letting green eyes slide closed in a prolonged blink as the ring was placed. When his sight returned, it focused on the blond – his husband – before anywhere else. Quatre was his, to have and to hold, forever more. And, for Trowa Barton, life had never been more beautiful.

“And I love you, Quatre Raberba Winner.” He almost seemed to say the name the way the blond did himself, enunciating every syllable with care. Compassion. Love.

Trowa’s eyes then dropped to the ring, a glimmering representation of their eternal commitment to one another. It didn’t feel like any variety of fine or precious metal; it wasn’t gold, platinum, or the like. It was something else. He could tell by weight alone. What metal would be so light? Instinctively, his mind could think of one certain type...but that wasn’t possible. There was no way.

It hit him then. Despite however he might appear to those unassuming of him, Trowa’s little blond love was crafty. Quatre was a man with a great eye for detail, with just the right amount of creativity to conjure truly unique ideas, and the boldness and determination to bring them to life. Nothing was impossible.

Green eyes flickered from the ring to his newlywed husband. “Is this..?”
