[So after seeing your toplevel on will-they-won't-they, I got curious, and omg I'm planning on blasting through reading Bongchon Bride because oh my god Bongchun is too cute! And then I sat here for several hours wondering who to offer.

[Edmond's distinctly the tsundere archetype when it comes to anything lewd, but he's pretty gentle at heart. He also has a reputation of treating anyone of "lesser class" than himself as equals, and actually comes down harshly on anyone along his own rank for any missteps.

[I have a giant (hah!) soft spot for characters with Bongchun's visual aesthetic. It's just so nice and different and such a more realistic body type for functional muscle!

[Edmond can be both very clear as well as annoyingly vague - and it doesn't help matters that he's from a gay vn/gatcha mobile game. I just hit part 2/chapter 20-something with the visual ref. Looks like Edmond is about 7cm taller than Soongap!

[As a note, I have info about Edmond in his journal if you'd like a look through that. <3 That includes some of the peculiarities that come with his canon.

Or maybe some other situation occurs where Bongchun takes Edmond home instead? Either way, he's not visibly likely to be afraid of him on sight. Dude fights monsters, after all.]

[YES!!! He’s got a great body type you don’t get much in BLs. There’s hunky tops and slim bottoms, but rarely do you get a real bear. My only complaint is I wish Gaepi drew him with more body hair lol

[It’s okay. Soongap is similar; he puts up boundaries and immediately breaks them, which teaches Bongchun some bad habits regarding sex lol but it works for them. I tend to think of Bongchun as very malleable when it comes to his partners. Depending on how they react, he’ll act accordingly until he feels like he understands what they want. Then he goes for it full force. 83

[I do tend to tweak Edmond's characterization slightly, regarding sex, so that he uses more "soft" nos at worst rather than anything harsher like his canonical counterpart. It took like 1.5 years after the game's release for him to actually say "yes" properly like... twice! But he's very kinky. Like, there's a scene where he's caught reading a bodice ripper and his companion opts to reenact it with him, much to Edmond's utter embarrassment.]

It’s one thing for a character to be all harsh no’s because it’s in canon, and another when you’re trying to play with RP things and ensure the other player knows things are actually good to go. Lol we don’t even know if they’re gonna have sex in this thread but I suppose it’s best we be prepared!

[But yeah, I bring it up because sex is actually an important aspect for Edmond's physiology. While I headcanon his age, that means he's prone to still feeling "off" even when he's fully recovered ever since his essence levels rose high enough. Essence is like life/magic energy. Most people don't have a whole lot of it. Edmond's a font of it. Enough so that he has strength that could rival Bongchun's, among other things. Essence also has a smell and can have an aphrodisiac-like effect. Stuff like that. (Also means that he doesn't need lube because he makes his own, lol. I mean, how else does the game get away with not mentioning lube at all???)
