[ooc: Also lemme know if I'm BSing a little too much with the details here.]
[Billie stays silent until Martin is gone. She knows he isn't far, but there's a door between them and that's all she needs. The assassin feels a little lighter without the metal noises of the music box weighing her down, but her weariness sticks around. Still, Whalers know how to work through pain and exhaustion. And the second-in-command knew that better than anyone.
Now the only problem was figuring out what to do. She struggles with the cuffs for a moment, just to see if there's some kind of weak point. No good. The Overseers kept the important things in working order. Damn.
Billie looks around. Most of powers weren't going to help her. She couldn't transverse out of her binds, and her other abilities would be useless for the same reasons. The cell of the interrogation room itself was empty save for a few "persuasion" devices in a metal tray on a small table.
Actually, maybe one of her powers could work...
She holds out her outstretched hand towards a scalpel on the tray. The scalpel jitters, almost unwilling, but slowly it scrapes across the tray and floats itself over to Billie. It's nowhere as efficient as doing it to a person. For some reason, their ability to tether worked much people on living things. But when you could make it work, it had other purposes.
Soon the scalpel was in her hand. She starts, as best she can with her bound hand, to work at the screw of her own cuff. In the process, she looks up. Just in case. She was as quiet as an assassin of her caliber (and her current state) could be, but it never hurt to make sure you hadn't been heard.]
nadya says to go on without her :( wanna plan out what happens next over pm or aim later?
