[Chuuya honestly wasn't expecting to succeed at getting Dazai tied to this chair, but somehow he did. He may have gone a little overboard with the rope, but you can never be too careful, not with his slippery ex-partner. He's made sure to tie hands and legs, he's made sure to keep the knots well out of his reach, he's double checked that it's not too tight so Dazai can't make him believe it's cutting off any circulation.

He has a gag in his pocket, and he definitely needs to use it if he wants this to succeed, but he'll wait.]

And maybe this is just an experiment, really, but... whatever the results, could it truly be worth giving Chuuya such a sense of victory again, no matter how short-lived? Dazai for one isn't sure about that part yet, and so he doesn't entirely have to act his annoyance or fake his bitter smile.]

[Not really L M A O - hence why Dazai doesn't even bother stating it as a fact - and it's not like he technically has a clear conscience even now, but it's whatever. He has reasons for letting this happen, of course; that much was a given from the start. The real question is: are they good reasons?
