[Glaïeul has just previously been thinking about how intimidating Batman was. Jason wasn't intimidated though. he's never really thought that about Batman. Also... what Nothing thinks about in that moment is probably part of the reason why Jason got so upset before. it sounds like they think they're better. like their mission is better because they aren't doing what Jason had to do. what he sometimes still does. Jason was bold enough for go for the hubcaps, and it's because he was desperate. not because he preferred to steal from him and not from the corrupt or the bad. he wouldn't steal from people who were just trying to make ends meet. he was the one going without food.
and now it sounds like Glaïeul is thinking that he was stupid for trying to do what he did. like he should have known better, or he wasn't thinking. maybe he was. maybe he's just street trash. he kinda regrets sharing that smallest bit of information about himself.]

Jason gets angry when something is unfair, unjust, when people make him feel stupider or less than. his sudden anger is about hurt he feels, not about making fun of others or attacking them. maybe Glaïeul will learn to have more of an open mind about Jason, the way Jason's trying to have with Glaïeul, and learn that about him. hopefully, if any of this is going to work. Jason would wonder why Glaïeul would even want to be close to him or intimate with him if he thinks Jason's an angry bully who would make fun of him??
