A fun day outdoors and away from work, school, and family was just what Usa needed. Life was messy, hers doubly so. Having time to unwind and relax was good, but having someone to share it with was better. Nora had at first rubbed Usa the wrong way. Maybe it was because her upbeat attitude reminded her of someone she used to know. Those feeling hadn't lasted long and now they were as close as could be.

Usa wasn't big on roller coasters but went on one anyway, just to say she did. The flat rides were more her style, not to mention all the little restaurants around the park. She and Nora had eaten so many sweets she was honestly surprised they didn't get sick. It must have been all the walking.

The fun house looked kind of silly on the outside but there was absolutely no line. That may have had something to do with the closed sign on the entrance. There was no such sign on the exit. Usa whispered something into Nora's ear and grinned mischievously. They could have a little fun in there. Sneaking in was pretty easy, no one was around to see them. Most of the place was standard fare, but the mirror maze was impressive. Usa bumped into walls a couple times before finally stopping and turning around to take Nora into her arms.

"Why not here?"
