I'm not as beautiful as Ishizu is now... She'll be so glad that you're back!

[ She laughs a little as he kisses her palm, oblivious to the way he gazes at her body. When Ishizu had told her the truth of her family's bloodline, Ritsuka had been shocked, but she reassured her sister that it didn't change that they were still family. And despite what she knew now, Marik would always would be her little brother - Ritsuka felt no shame in appearing like this before him.

It never occurred to her that the little boy whose head she stroked while humming all of the melodies from the world above would ever desire her.

Things are different now, Marik-- I've become the guardian of one of the God cards, thanks to Ishizu, and when Odion comes back, I'm sure she'll make sure that he gets recognized for everything he's done for you...!

[ It had been a big uproar, when her sister had appointed an outsider to the role. After all, she could never be one of them - it was obvious from a glance that she had been born outside, from another country, and it was only by the grace of the tomb keepers that she had not shared her parents' fate. But Ishizu had been firm, and Ritsuka was vigilant in making sure that no one would ever have a reason to doubt her choice.

Until now.

The way she lowered her guard so easily around her long-lost brother would be her downfall, disregarding her sister's warnings about him. She had missed him so... and she had always felt that she had been responsible for the way things had turned out.
]

By the way, where's Odion? I would have thought the two of you would return together...
