[ It wasn't a big heist. Break into some rich asshole's manor, steal some documents, get the hell out of dodge. Simple enough for one person, really, as Squalo insisted, but apparently the boss (who had never actually claimed the title, it just sort of fell into place and nobody wanted to argue with it) had a weird aversion to "unnecessarily risking" his people and wanted to get it done himself. Long story short, Squalo being a self proclaimed right hand man and a stubborn ass in his own right, it ended up with both of them going. A little bit of an overkill, perhaps, but he did always enjoy watching Levi work. There was something genuinely feral about the man in a fight, contrasting to the usual more stoic air he gave out. ]
[ It's no surprise they succeed, of course. It gets a little more interesting when the police -- or rather, suspiciously competent guards give chase. A bunch of bullets, lots of reckless driving and three stolen motorcycles later, Squalo's quite certain that they've lost the tail. ]
[ The next thing he knows, they're both in the air, headed for the river. Somebody must have laid a trap, he thinks, right before a sharp turn. There's not much time to look for enemies, though, not much time to do anything but jump -- and then tumble down the slope with all the grace of a cat in a bag. He swears all the way down, finally skidding to a stop and grunting when a weight lands on him. ]
[ Huh. Guess it wasn't just him who got thrown in for a spin. Speaking of which... ]
