All good things come to an end... but sometimes, it is through our toughest moments that we discover our greatest strengths as people or as partners. This is a meme for breakups of all flavors: between friends, lovers, spouses, and villains. Is this truly over, or is there still a future ahead of you?

Circumstances beyond your control are taking your love away. Are you at their bedside, or is someone else delivering the news?

You don't want to break up, but you swear it's for the best. You or your job are putting your love in danger, or maybe you know your relationship is toxic.

You have to pretend to break up for... reasons? Perhaps it's for an undercover job, for their own safety, or even to put their commitment to the test.

7. all a lie
This relationship was never true. You were being manipulated the entire time, either purposefully or through a curse, spell, or potion.

8. on again, off again
This isn't the first time you're breaking up, and it probably won't be the last. You just can't stay away.

It can be painful when close friends part ways, too.
