"That would be a pretty stupid way to trap you." He couldn't really imagine why anyone would want to trap a werewolf that badly. "And a lot of effort. I prefer to do things the easy way, where possible."

He flashed a grin at Eliot when the light passed over him. "Feel free to think I did, though. My maker keeps telling me to learn to be a proper villain and all. I can tell him I have an arch-enemy when I get out of here."

He pointed back toward another of the tunnels. "I slept down that way. Didn't go all the way, though, so I don't know if there's a way out that way."
