- Top levels in this meme are for original characters only! Canon characters may tag around as they please.
- Anyone top-leveling is strongly encouraged to tag at least one other person! Give what you hope to receive.

- YMMV. Don't be a jerk, and don't get discouraged.
- Respect your fellow creators and have fun!
PROMPTS
1. meet cute
You're bumping into each other for the first time! Are you being introduced by friends, or is it just happenstance? Are you in a coffee shop? On a college campus? At a bar? In the middle of an assassination attempt? The world is a wide and wonderful place.
2. romance
The sparks are flying. Don't let good chemistry go to waste.
3. conflict
Sometimes characters are gonna butt heads. That's some good drama right there. Mortal enemies? Or just can't agree on whether sandwiches should be cut horizontally or diagonally?
4. just texting
More of a format than a prompt in this case. Low pressure, low impact, perfect for voicetesting.
5. hurt/comfort
Whether new, assumed, and established CR, one of you is suffering and the other is here to help. Are your wounds mental, physical, or emotional?
6. the dirty one
Look. Sometimes you just wanna bone. No one's judging you. We're all filth here.
7. wildcard, obviously
(You grew a person from your own imagination, you don't need our help. Enjoy!)

sapha。original。ota
concept: the country of valleyway is led by the priesthood who's in charge of the temples and, naturally, the temple taxes and service payments. means the priests are really rich and abuse their power a lot. from the earliest age that she knew how to write, sapha could make things appear that she wrote about, as long as it was tangible enough. it's a kind of magic unknown to the valleyway society where only men have magical powers. a priest by the name of abdil later insisted on marrying her and she now works as a kind of oracle for the biggest temple there is. she hates her life. ]

Happy to help characters investigate a mystery that falls under hers or the Society's purview, as well as more personal plotlines (friends, maybe even lovers), interactions with other vampires (pleasant or otherwise) always welcome.}}

Sarae Lisolis | fantasy mage type
Concept: Sarae trained in magic, as she graduated from magic school (basically) the economy crashed and now she's struggling to make ends meet in her world's version of the gig economy. She's quite tired. She doesn't want to work for the fantasy version of Uber but she can sense that breathing down her neck.
Would probably mesh best with people from similar world backgrounds, take that as you will. Quite willing to AU her, assumed CR, etc.]

Benedict Dearborn — academic in religious history and low key exorcist — ota
buzzwords aside, Ben veered right off off the threshold of seminary school to take a more broad approach on getting his doctorate, by studying and traversing the world as a whole after the tedious and careful trek through adolescence saw him mourning his parents' violent and unexplainable deaths. plus, discovering the entity at his periphery was an angel all along. unable to stop himself from his pursuits for knowledge and traveling the world to witness and assist in supernatural phenomenon, Ben practices white magic and wards all but in name through modest means, and also...when need be, taps into his family's history of distinguished exorcists when the Church won't lend its hand in times of need. much much more info on journal, and some very lofty canon AU ideas for anyone familiar and interested.
open to all, 6 is an unlockable achievement with some thread chemistry. if you'd like a starter, just ask! love to plot through PM especially. )
7! (with elements of 1, I suppose)
But there is something else that feels different. Something that Loren can't quite put his finger on. He's not the type to be anxious or nervous. Thus far, the most he's really had to worry about while ghost hunting are aggressive animals nesting in whatever location he's delved into (and more often than not, the source of the supposed spirit infesting the place), and rotting floorboards. Either can be mitigated with the proper tools and an abundance of caution. Still, there's a buzzing anticipation that settles in his chest, which can't be quite chalked up to his usual excitement.
Loren's favorite locations are the ones that aren't widely known. Ones that haven't been discussed on dozens of podcasts or explored in documentaries or ghost hunting shows. But sometimes, if one knows where to look, and digs deep enough, they might find rumors of ghosts or spirits somewhere that seem legitimate enough to warrant investigating. Huntington Manor isn't widely known. In fact, Loren couldn't find much about it at all. The public records for the home have all been misplaced, purposefully destroyed, or otherwise lost to time, and he can't figure out which. Newspaper archives in the closest town offer no stories about the home itself or any of its previous occupants. Even local message boards hold no whispers or mentions of even the vaguest of rumors. It's strange. The old homestead is set on a remote country road, and the driveway itself is long and winding, isolating the building further. The nearest neighbor is miles away through forest or across the river. Usually, a location gets a reputation from neighbors or the owner themselves hearing or seeing things. Occasionally urban explorers or bored teenagers sneak in some unsecured entrance and a haunting is reported that way. But near as Loren can tell, this client is a third party - hired by the owner, he assumes, but has no idea.
At the very least, his partner seems professional enough that whatever red flags this whole business is raising, Loren is reasonably sure that he's not being lured to some location to be killed for... whatever reason. Benedict, the email said.
It's dusk when he finally reaches the end of the driveway, though being summer, it's still fairly late. Loren can't resist the siren call of coastal Georgia with its great bowing oak trees and Spanish moss... but he could do without the mosquitos. And the humidity. He had seen plenty of lightning bugs further down the road, but as he parks the van, back end to the house for easier unloading, Loren does notice the distinct flickering dots of light conspicuously absent.
It's darker, beneath the shade of the trees, but Loren takes note that he is not the first to arrive. "Benedict, right?" he calls, stepping out of the van. His voice is soft and friendly, with an accent that is difficult to place. "I'm Loren, we spoke over email."
