Glenn hopped out of the boat a little more cautiously, pulling it further up onto the shore, so it wouldn't drift away. After tying it off to a nearby rock, he followed Kid up to the entrance to the Dead Sea.
A chill ran up his spine, and he gripped the handle of his sword, still sheathed in its scabbard. He'd heard how creepy this place had been, everything frozen in time, from Serge, but it was another thing entirely to actually see it. Glenn wasn't sure if the destruction of the Dead Sea added to the creepiness or just made it harder to navigate.
At Kid's comment, Glenn hunched his shoulders briefly, then cleared his throat. "Ahh, yes. I am well aware of that," he said with an air of awkwardness. Well, he knew it now. Should have realized it earlier, to be honest. He had been thinking about Riddel, when he'd made that comment about coming along to help 'protect' Kid, when she said she wanted to check this place out. He had been properly... corrected of that notion. His grip shifted from the handle to the pommel of his sword, fingering it absently in thought. "Still... there is safety in numbers. Just in case anything happens. Or we run into a puzzle just one person can't complete."
He frowned, looking further into the foreboding place. "...Any idea where we're going?"
