You don't know how, or why, but you now have the power of a god. Scratch that, you are a god, with all the responsibilities (or lack of) the job entails.

How To Play:
♦ In your subject line, include 'god/dess of...' with whatever you prefer to post. This can be anything: god/dess of knowledge, god/dess of french fries, god/dess of wank. Whatever you think your character is most suited to be.
♦ Optionally, describe how they came to be that deity. Have they always been a god? Were they just made a god? Did the head god make them a god for shits and giggles? Did the previous god of, say, tigers make them god/dess of tigers before hightailing it for vacation?

He does, however, keep it on the downlow. He prefers to get his popularity and fame through his own hard work, after all, not with special powers.

But there does seem to be a storm of some kind when he's around, usually on the lighter scale unless he's miffed. And he sure does love to take selfies in the middle of his storms.]

I transgress. It's a Trickster's job to upset the status quo and tip the balance. Not necessarily to the point of destruction, but far enough to annoy, or frighten, the far-too-comfortable.
