It's probably for the best for both of them that they're starting slow because even though it's something Tim's actively craving right now, feeling actual skin against his hand is... almost overwhelming. Not to mention awkward, honestly, because hand-holding is not a common occurrence for him. But god, there's a world of difference between the simulations of human contact he's been making for himself with the blanket and the cushions and everything and actually having a person touch him.
